How do I stop getting ads based on what I'm doing - I hate Google

I have an Android phone, and I just got an ad for nail clippers on youtube while clipping my nails. I've never searched for nail clippers, talked about nail clippers, and I've barely thought about them. Should I just completely degoogle my phone and switch to lineage OS or something? I have ad personalization shut off and permissions turned off for location camera microphone etc.

I don't believe any of the 'studies' that say the ad companies are that good at predicting my habits. For example, I'm sick today and clipped my nails earlier than I normally do, and I don't pick a day or anything. Just when they start looking grubby.
