How do I change my pfp?

people are saying to go to my account details and click the edit button below my pfp placeholder, but i see no such link. i also posted in "forum discussion" and my post apparently got deleted. don't know where to ask

Your account is too new to make a profile picture. The time frame is kept vague on purpose. Check again after around a month of posting.

Someone asked this question before and Null said make some posts and then later on you can change your pfp. It's one of the few times Null didn't bark at people, I guess because it was a new user that asked.
