How do I become interesting?

But that would imply that everyone who makes money is interesting, which isn't true.
doesnt matter
when you make money people will pretend you're interesting even if you're not, and through social dynamics this propagates and self-reinforces: once people see that others treat you as interesting, they start thinking you're interesting, so now you really are interesting even though you actually weren't interesting in the beginning.

It helps if you're a caveman with only the dimmest concept of social convention. Kind of like a friendly dog somehow let loose into society with only enough training to understand not crapping in the street.

Not the best way to get along or maintain relationships, but it'll at least make people interested.

That's sort of the dilemma. Being interesting means someone is an anomaly, and therefore doesn't fit in.

I see what you're saying, it makes sense, but I can't see myself propagating my meaningless accomplishments. I'm just either too poor at socialising or I can't aggrandise something very mundane. Isn't there somehow I can actually become interesting? Obviously coming across as interesting is important, but I think I should substantiate what I tell people with things I've actually done.
