That's actually really good advice. Thank you cat manRefuse to dwell on disappointment, sadness, negativity. Make a habit of thinking about good things whenever the bad ones pop up. Just refuse to allow yourself to be brought down, fight it as hard as you can. You'll find that not falling into the trap of habitual negative thought will do wonders toward straightening out your mental state.
I know it is hard sometimes. If you are struggling, adopt the mindset of one who is fighting rather than capitulating. Avoid feeling like a victim at all costs. Approach your turmoil with the mindset of, "I'm going to attack it and snub it out" the same as you would any other threat to your wellbeing, rather than the mindset of "I'm going to run away from this" or "There's nothing I can do"
I'm not saying you are doing any of the above. This is just good advice for anyone to remember from time to time. Consider negativity and depression as threats to be defended against.
Pff, giving good advice in an Q&A thread? H E R E S Y!It's the dwelling that gets you. It's a real bad habit. You can experience hard times, but always keep moving! Stay strong! You'll thank yourself for it, and you deserve it.
