i suppose be completely comfortable with your sex. If you're a man, dress masculine and act masculine. If you're a woman, dress feminine and act feminine.

You are basically on the cutting edge of society that way. "Edgy" is by being on the outskirts of the bell curve of what's considered. average and normal these days.

The line between edgelord and autistic-weirdo is a fine one, but with some skill and careful preparation you can do it to.
Find out about the social norms and common values of the groups you're in. Then slowly start overstepping those norms and acting against those values. Do it slowly but keep pushing until you're right on the edge... but don't ever push past the edge or else you'll just look like a socially maladjusted autist.
The trick isn't being a completely oblivious asshole, the trick is being enough of aware asshole that you don't get ostracized.

Read the room, and then say exactly what goes *against* the general consensus, and proceed to argue it hyperbolically ad nauseam.

Read 1 book on philosophy. You don't even have to finish it. Just read enough to get the general idea. Start doing stuff that goes against cultural norms. Justify it using some half baked philosophical theory. Claim that people who react badly to it just don't understand philosophy and morality and how you're "making a statement". It's cringe as fuck but an overlooked element of being edgy is usually reading a book on philosophy and morality.

Just look at every "artist" who likes to "push the boundaries". Either they partake in cannibalism or use cadaver tissue in their sculpture, or paint a picture of a baby being killed, or taxidermy their pet and turn it into a sculpture. A lot of them are just spergs doing shit to get a reaction but they shroud it in philosophy so instead of just being a weirdo retard they are an edgy artist
