Like literally doing nothing. Chilling in total silence not engaging with anything. I feel most depressed when I suddenly lack the desire to do anything but I also don't want to do nothing. It's like I have to be constantly entertained. How can I learn to appreciate mundane, ordinary, boring moments like that?
Hope this makes sense 😅

It helps to have dysfunctional brain chemistry and modern world induced mental illness. Also learning to meditate can help one focus more on less. Also also read more books instead of screen time.

Here's a tip. Do something worthwhile with your time. Mow the lawn, do some housework, clean up a bit, help out in the community if you can. Do something that's physically demanding but spiritually rewarding. And THEN try sitting somewhere comfy and doing nothing. One must imagine Sisyphus happy, but one must also imagine he wouldn't mind a comfy chair.

Find something nice to look at.
