I tried to drink my tea but I tripped and jammed the straw down my throat

So now it hurts worse than before

I'm doing okay. Issues are being issues, but I worked out and my gf treated me to some Chinese for lunch, so that's pretty cool and helped a bunch. The Chinese place gave us free donuts, I love those guys.

Been kind of depressed the past week or so. Complications with landlord means I'm unable to do some things I was doing actively and enjoying a lot the past two months, which leaves me feeling kind of worthless and uninterested in anything.

People who drink their tea through a straw deserve whatever they get

Feeling lazy on my day off. Relaxing in my recliner, browsing the farms and watching some King of the Hill. Sorry to hear about your wrist. If I could mercykill you I would.

Between an ever present feeling of loneliness and restlessness in my personal life and burnout from work I've hit a weird stasis. Other than that things are good, hitting the gym regularly again, birds are fat and sassy, and I did some home repairs over the weekend and have a working doorbell again. Good shit yo.

My elderly family member broke their hip yesterday, so I've been sitting in a hospital for over 12 hours. I'm so fucking tired.

Yeah, understand exactly. Our elderly family member fractured hip about three weeks ago, had surgery, new hip put in. Problems have developed, another surgery coming up later this week.

Otherwise, I'm okay. Could be better. Could always be worse.

I’m quite broke at the moment. It’s given me a better perspective on the average customer service worker and those who take whatever job they can to survive until they can get on to the next thing,

Don't mind the powerlevel....

I was recently diagnosed with Polycythemia vera. So I have to go get my blood drained here this week. The first time it was 1000ml, then 750ml a month later. Wonder what it will be this time.

I work with a bunch of faggot yuppies, every weekday stinks until I find a less infuriating job

Does it obviate being a donor?

Does it obviate being a donor?

I don't think so, since it is not an infectious disease, but they do toss my blood when they drain it in the hospital.

I told them it was a waste and they agreed, but apparently they have no procedure for saving my blood.

The draw it out of an IV into a small jar and toss the whole thing.

Honestly I'm doing great; A little tired as I just changed up my sleep schedule for my job but things are working out way better than I would have expected a year ago

Cycling accident. Wheel got caught in a pothole, so I got launched forwards and landed arms first.

You have my sympathy, bike accidents are no joke. I once flew over the handlebars and busted the front of my helmet on a busy road.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Got %125+ of my work done today. Got a bunch of deals shopping. Got to see an episode of Jojo. Got all my other work done. Yet I'm operating on 4 hours of sleep.
BUT!
Ate a burrito this morning with a lot of milk and a pair of Starbucks egg / bacon thingy muffins. First time trying those. Muffin things were decent. (Someone gave all three to me for free a while back.) Anyway had to put hot sauce on the burrito because it wasn't great.
NOW LET'S DO THE MATH, CHILDREN!
