It always made me laugh that the bad guy tribe were all horribly sexist and sneering woman haters, because being violent lunatics sacrificing people wasn't subtle enough.
And you will never get to play as them. Suddenly all the excuse of 'artistic storytelling with different perepective' is gone.

Mutated ogre looks ugly as ever. Also watch them make the ogre lesbo to go full cycle.

The first game is coming to PC so we can have modders fix that face and put on some good clothes. Heres to hoping the new one comes to PC as well so that modders can make the games playable.

It won't come until long after release.

The entire reason being is that marketing data shows(even for limited time exclusives) that the first platform they get released on makes like 80% of the total profit and sales. Any type of year or multi year delay always results in the port always selling significantly less. There are some exceptions like if a game comes out 15 years later to a modern platform once the original and the hardware is long long out of print you'll get a resurgence(i.e. Dreamcast ports). But other than that, Horizon being ported is to draw more people into the playstation brand as a whole since the game series is being turned into a TV series as well.

If people like the first game they'll buy a playstation 5, especially if the TV series takes off.

I know the footage was a short section, but it looks too similar to the last one to keep my interest. Looked like they took a few steps forward but personally wanted to see a leap forward. As someone who liked the first but didn't love it this gameplay didn't do it for me but maybe something later could sway my opinion.

Looks great, just hope to god there's a 60FPS option. Really wanna fly the bird-bots this time but considering they had to axe it from the first game due to PS4's limitations I dunno if it's gonna happen. Also the music's pretty cool too.

This just makes me want a non-mordor based LoTR game made by the same folks that did Middle Earth: Shadows of-

Still just looks like a mediocre as fuck Ubisoft game except with robot dinosaurs and with a main character that both cannot act or shut the fuck up. In other words just like Ghost Of Tsushima it will be praised by brainlets who will pretend it's some masterful re-invention of a genre while if Ubishit made an Asscreed in Japan or Far Cry Blood Dragon 2 they would call it derivative garbage.

Unfortunately I’m getting the same vibes too.

I will always appreciate AAA devs making new IP, but Horizon, Days Gone, and Ghost all feel like they’re Just checking off boxes instead of truly standing out within their genres. Hopefully Naughty Dog doesn’t fall into the same habit with their next IP, but considering that those three games I mentioned are the best selling from those developers I’m not very optimistic.

Isn’t Valhalla the best selling AssCreed to date? AAA devs are getting more and more afraid to take risks while the average indie dev doesn’t have the ambition and production value that I’m looking for. The new Ratchet and Clank looks promising, and I haven’t played Returnal since I’m in no rush to get a PS5, but that game looks like a nice sweet spot as well. I wonder how long that creative freedom will last…

Ubisoft has destroyed it's own formula by tying it to stuff like currency to alleviate the massive grinds they've put in place to artificially extend their games. They weigh everything down with busywork. Where as Horizon and Ghosts of Tsushima don't have any of that, they're a far more refined version of the genre. Horizon Zero Dawn takes 20-40 hours to 100%, Valhalla takes over 100 hours. It's no different than was Old Blizzard did with it's games, taking existing things and just cutting the bullshit out of them.

Besides nobody is bringing turok back. Horizon is it if you want indians killing prehistoric beasts.

impossible. it took me 90 hours just to beat and i didnt even 100% it. then again, i was also doing the frozen wilds expansion which might've added up 20 hours to that clock

Yeah, I got the platnium for it. It was definitely over 40 hours to 100 percent.

For me personally, I started it on a Friday and finished it Sunday for the platinum. This was before the expansion so you couldn't use the expansion weapons to speed through the original content and there was also no new game+ at the time.

Most guides put it at the 40 hour mark.

Her hair is only like that because bangs would fuck with clipping into the head armor. It's why they nixed the superior concept art. She looks more homely now instead of just fugly.

Also I hate how they keep calling them American devs, they're not located in the US but in Europe. They don't have stereotypical radical feminists over there. Babushka ladies are far more common.

Also I think there's multiple models of Aloy because I swear her head is different in a few shots. I haven't seen a bunch of swaps like this since Rikku in Final Fantasy 10.

She looks like a bloated cokehead or someone with beetus. Wouldn't be as bad if she would just shut the fuck up for 5 seconds and wasn't voice acted by a sibling of the greatest suicide deterrent on the planet.

Yes they do. They absolutely do and babushka is strictly a rural thing.

And Guerilla Games is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. They're pozzed so bad they rot the neghole before the first load.

Have you seen the average european? Those norf memes arn't just figments of people's imagination.

Honestly most of her lines look like they were added in post production just for the trailer. Some of the gameplay footage looked like regular animation disguised as in game footage since the camera rotation never overshot and was always focused on exactly what was next.

The first game had her muttering constantly to herself at everything you did as a player. I don't trust they'll have fixed that since they are doing the same shit they did with advertising the first game. They could have at least gotten a VO director who gave the actors more direction that just "Sound determined". The game will no doubt do well regardless since people are so stupid they pretend the first game had a good story so it doesn't really matter. This is the same studio that has shamelessly ripped off shit and had horrid controls their entire existence and gotten praised anyways because of impressive graphics.
