I love everything about Vivaldi. The mouse gestures, the hella hotkeys, the speed dial, the customization... the fuckin everything. Also there is a button that makes images spin. that's good too.

I tried it out and it seemed a little too slow for me. Not being able to just import my cookies sucked too- no way am I figuring out what all my damn passwords are.

You should get a password manager, like LastPass.

I feel like we need a software shilling thread. Everyone's got suggestions these days and we've had dumber threads, so why not.

I've been using it for over a year now, it's a nice browser. I like the notepad and tiling tabs features.

You mean like bookmarks?
I wanted everything, including bookmarks, browsing history, and passwords. It's okay though, I did it already and am using Vivaldi right now, thanks to @Sperglord Dante. I'm still getting used to this, but I have no doubt that it will prove vastly superior to Chrome. I'm already loving the ability to mute individual tabs and to organize them in stacks.

I even started using DuckDuckGo and installed AdNaseum, because really, fuck Google. Now I just have to start switching to a new email, if I can ever be bothered with that kind of effort. Any suggestions for a new email service, guys?

Playing around with Vivaldi right now on Debian and its hella fast. Very impressed. Chrome extensions work just fine with it.

Extensions are pretty much universal now. What works on chrome works on firefox, and what works on either works in its forks. The only exclusive extensions are some old timey firefox plug ins which had access to stuff under the hood mozilla doesn't want you to touch now. You'll need a fork like waterfox for that.

So I'm not going to use Vivaldi. Everything is great. But h264 and misc video support on Debian. Been running Debian for a bit and can't figure out how to get the h264 videos to run. tried a few things through googling but they never work. Firefox supports all YouTube videos out of the box. So I'm using Waterfox instead. got that running.

I use youtube a lot, so this is a big deal breaker. Sorry Vivaldi. Fix that and I'd use you in a heartbeat.
