It wasn't excessively buggy (though I think I did hit a few game-breaking ones), but it was very poorly optimized. Worse than Batman Arkham Knight was on launch.

Is the optimization in Hogwarts Legacy worse than The Last of Us 1's PC Port, or no?

Kinda surprised, to be honest; from what I've heard, the game does happen to have a few POC characters and some gays in there as well. You figure that would be enough to get the fags to back off, but... well, the constant attacks from the troons and their followers speaks for itself.

Looking forward to grabbing it on the PS4!
You expect them to actually do research into things they might hate? You absolute bigot!

Back to the game, my girlfriend has been using it as her 'play here and there' game after work to decompress and now I have it platinumed. It actually wasn't that difficult, just grab a bunch of treasure chests hidden around the place and you're good. I actually unlocked most of the trophies during my playthrough just by doing side quests and levelling up.

The state of modern culture that something like Airplane! legitimately flies over their heads.
Surely you can't be serious!
I look forward to the sequel, hopefully this one will have more spells and let me be more evil.

Seriously, I must have played the nicest Slytherin to ever exist and that was my renegade run. Why wasn't I able to scream mudblood at the top of my lungs?
I know, right? Then again, Slytherins are all about ambition, and having everyone suck up to you is a pretty big ambition to have...

I was VERY disappointed by the ending but genuinely had a fucking fun as fuck time. I hope my Requirement room transfers over

I'm so stoked about a sequel- also to everyone saying "don't throw your money towards games cuz of politics"
Fuck you I like Hogwarts and Hippogriffs plus I hate men in dresses this is fantastic- I also pirate every other game in existence so its fine if I give money to one game every couple of years lol

Literally the Troon in the game was named Ryan, his game file was named Ms. Man other something and his voice was deepened. Yes I am giving them money for based points suck on my arm meat rot dog

It was decent enough, although its performance was worse than Starfield. I hope the story isn't as disappointing in the sequel. I hope it doesn't do that thing a lot of sequels do where they take away all the skills you earned in the last game though. I like having the more powerful spells unlocked.

I still need to beat this game, though my wife ran through it in like a few days around the launch lol. Enjoyed what I played and yea it ran pretty poorly on my rig back than but haven’t tried it again with the updates. But I mean Starfield is playing pretty well so who knows.

The thing I want in the next game is to actually feel like I’m a student at Hogwarts. Like I get they probably aren’t going to go just full school sim or anything but the old ps2 era games did a really good job of having its story but still trying to make going to classes feel important.

What im saying is I don’t want to Hogwarts a Skyrim, I just want to go to Hogwarts and have a cool adventure along with that. Give me a schedule, classes, force us to wear the correct outfits when going to school and make punishments or the threat of getting in trouble a thing.

What, like the ability to just insta-death people with the Killing Curse like in my case?

I'd settle for the NPC's noticing I cast the forbidden curses.
An example would be Sebastian's uncle chastises you in a cut-scene saying "If I ever see you cast one of those curses again, I'll report you to Hogwarts myself. However when you regain control you can spam the curses on a target dummy in direct line of the uncle and he doesn't even react
