Wizardshit is aimed at a target audience of teens and tweens.
The comparison to MLP and Bluey is an exaggeration.

what you're missing is everybody only started playing semi-ironically and as an easy way to murder troons

it was a pleasant surprise when it was actually good and that whiplash is half the appeal of the thread

And you're still missing the point of Hogwarts Legacy and its status. People (such as myself) are playing it unironically just to smite against online troons and Twitch streamers.

I am genuinely surprised at the low percentage of players who accomplish some very basic, fundamental achievements or plot milestones in games.
it's very common on steam because you can buy games for so cheap, but I can totally see it; games are entertainment and people get bored.

I may or may not ever finish the hagwarts; I'm far enough along that I kinda know where it's gonna go and one fight is annoyingly hard so I may just play some other game instead; I don't got no decades for this shit

Probably a bit off-topic, but; is Hogwarts Legacy really the most-hated game of all time for "journalists" and troons? Because seriously, I keep seeing fags whining about it.

Yes because it actually succeeded and their boycott was a massive failure to their cause and reputation
Now they're shifting gears to ruining its legacy, they'll never learn

Kinda surprised, to be honest; from what I've heard, the game does happen to have a few POC characters and some gays in there as well. You figure that would be enough to get the fags to back off, but... well, the constant attacks from the troons and their followers speaks for itself.

Looking forward to grabbing it on the PS4!

Because the woman who didn't even make it, just has her name attached to the franchise, J.K. Rowling is by no exaggeration on par with Hitler to these people. Anything she even glances at will be viewed in the exact same way; A tool for "trans genocide".

Like how during the 90s and 2000s (and in 2010s for a little bit), games such as Doom, GTA, CoD, etc. were criticized by more diehard conservative evangelicalists for being the scapegoats for mass tragedies. Lefttist troons (including twitch streamers and journos) do the same with things they don't like on social networking without giving them a chance thus committing a mass (albeit laughably failed) boycott. In this case, the Harry Potter author.

Surprised they're not latching onto games like Ethnic Cleansing and such, though to be fair, most of them probably aren't even aware that game exists.

Back on topic; is the game even good, though? I mean, I'll be buying it regardless - entertainment value is personal, after all - but I've heard some complaints about difficulty and some bugs and stuff in the game. Granted, the PS4 might end up playing differently compared to some other versions, but I'd still like to get an idea.

I highly doubt they're into either very obscure shit or most indie games unless the latter appeals to their own kind (i.e. Undertale, Danganronpa, Pizza Tower, Hollow Knight, etc.).

I meant more along the lines of "games to attack", as "proof that the ytpipeo are advocating for the genocide of their peaceful and tolerant kind" and all that shit. Sorry for the confusion.

No, I know. I'm just saying that they only attack Hogwarts Legacy because of the brand and the original author, so of course they're not going to pick on something obscure (including games) that has the same message they think they're using.

Believe me, I really wish I could word it properly.

Oh, no, I get what you're saying now. I just thought I wasn't clear enough on my end.

Anyway, going back to Hogwarts: from what I've heard, the game is actually fairly mediocre overall - not exactly a bad game per se, but it doesn't exactly bring anything new to the table. It really does seem like the game has only gotten so much attention because the fags really can't let go of their political views for any length of time; kinda sad, but when you've got supposed "professional reviewers" like Yahtzee having to bring up the "muh transphobe" argument first and foremost, it really does show just how terminally-online these lunatics really are.

It's just like Gamergate, where one side is so clearly not knowledgable about the subject matter that the actual obvious things they should be bringing up...aren't.

Like, for all of Gamergate, not once did any of the Anti-GG's bring up Duke Nukem Forever. A game where the objectification of women as being more or less helpless bimbos and/or sex objects, with the lone exception of the one mother of the kid who gives you the RC car to drive, is just as prevalent as the thinly disguised references to video game culture the game shoves in your face. If you have been part of gaming culture for any length of time, I don't think it's possible to NOT know about DNF simply because it's one of the two biggest examples of video game vaporare in existence (the other being HL3). As such, you'd think a whole movement to try and paint video games as being misogynistic at heart would use a game that, on the surface, is probably one of the most misogynistic things ever created (even though the whole point of this stems from Duke Nukem having evolved into a pastiche joke compilation of 80s action movie tropes, since Duke's famous bubblegum line isn't even original - it's from They Live).

The only reason the troons give a shit about Legacy is that it's Harry Potter, if you stripped off all the licensed shit for more generic crap ('Merlin School of Magic' instead of Hogwarts, etc.) they wouldn't even care.

Also, buy the PS4 version. I got the PC version off steam and the graphics are so buggy that it's virtually unplayable on my older hardware even on the lowest settings.

I think it is pretty good, certainly not groundbreaking or anything, but the spell slinging is very fun imo. I didn't have a lot of bugs (on PC). If you are a fan of Harry Potter, it's even better because you will find plenty of references and I think it is quite immersive.
The funny thing is that if JKR had been "on their side", they would be all over this shit, it would be GOTY for so many of them and they would defend/celebrate it so much. Yahtzee would probably still not like it, but he wouldn't have to call a woman with pretty standard opinions a cunt. I still wonder if that was his actual opinion or if he thinks he needs to pander to the lunatics.

It wasn't excessively buggy (though I think I did hit a few game-breaking ones), but it was very poorly optimized. Worse than Batman Arkham Knight was on launch.
