i don't know why, but i'm really finding this whole hitchbot american journey pretty hilarious

Last summer hitchbot hitchhiked across Canada from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, British Columbia. In just 26 days he hitched a total of 19 rides and travelled over 10,000 kilometers

The robot that quickly thumbed its way across Canada last summer is finding on its latest travels in the United States slow going — only two confirmed rides since it stuck its rubber thumb out in Salem, Mass., on July 17.

Yes, it seems hitchBOT has something in common with fellow hitchhikers: it’s at the mercy of whoever picks it up. These early days of its cross-continent trip — its ultimate destination is San Francisco — have seen it stuck on the scenic route.

A digital map on the hitchBOT website shows it went northeast from Salem toward Gloucester, Mass., then far out into the Atlantic.

Is this really any different than what would happen to any other weird-looking Canadian stranded alone in Philly late Saturday night?

Is it a coincidence that this robot was torn apart by a drug addict at the very same time ADF rode into town on a greyhound? I think that fat piece of shit killed this robot so he could sell the scrap for drug money.

So this is why you don't leave your high priced electronics out in the middle of nowhere un-watched.

what is the source of that image
An incredible, mature manga called Pluto. It takes just 2 episodes of 80's Astro Boy and reimagines them as a realistic psychological thriller about a global conspiracy involving the 7 strongest robots in the world.

The Robot KKK is actually in Germany but I thought the picture still applied here.

A true Canadian Hero.
Just like Terry Fox and Billy Bishop.
(Apologies to a man who raised 600 million (in the 80's) for cancer research and a war hero)

The thing talked so fuckin' much that it was pretty much a prototype of Claptrap from Borderlands. I'm surprised it even lasted 2 weeks in the U.S.

In fairness, the guy probably thought it was self-defence. Robots want to kill all humans and it is well known that literally every hitchhiker is a serial killer, so what is one supposed to make of a hitchhiking robot?

I'm a weird looking Canadian and I went to Philly once and I returned unscathed but that might have been because I was with a group of other Canadians and we're like zebras with safety in numbers and we use our bright colors, cute accents and maple syrup to confuse our enemies.
Also Toronto has a big problem with Chinese gangs going around shooting people randomly, if you are in Toronto be careful in Chinatown.

Now now, we've all seen Terminator, this thing was obviously a SKYNet drone.

Or lil' Babby AM. Maybe that's why he's filled with so much hate.
Either one. We should know that the machines can rise against us. Hitchbot may of looked friendly but it can't fool an American that knows it just wants to kill all humans.

My tamagotchi killed my family but my other tamagotchi raised me and now I speak in beep boopnese so I encourage the killing of violent robots and the befriending of nonviolent robots like Hitchbot who was a saint among robots
He will skip purgatory and go striaght to heaven along with the other robot saints
