Semi-unrelated, but the best battleship that ever served this fine nation was certainly the USS Missouri. Yes, I am biased. No, I won't be accepting any rebuttals.

The ship has had a very long and impressive service record, but of note is the fact that the Japanese surrender was signed aboard it, officially ending WWII.

A Far Side comic poking fun at Jane Goodall gave Gary Larson a lot of controversy. The Jane Goodall Institute called the cartoon an "atrocity" and attempted to have it removed from syndication. However, Jane Goodall herself found the comic amusing and personally squashed the institute's attempts. She gave praise to Larson, and stated it was her favorite portrayal in media. Co-incidently, Gary Larson visited the Jane Goodall Research Facility in Tanzania and was attacked by a chimpanzee.

I posted a long time ago talking about a collection of historical photos I had from a partially downloaded torrent, and that I would get around to posting some. I'd estimate there are over 4000 photos. The (untouched) folders from the torrent are Korea, Vietnam, Vintage America, Warplanes, 'WWII Stills and More'. I know for a fact that a lot of the vietnam and korea photos are personal photos from american troops stationed in the regions, as well as very vintage (pre-ww2) photographs of Korea. If anyone wants me to post from these folders, maybe with some specific interests, please let me know. I wanted to parse through them but there are just so many photos to choose from.
