Around 200 people died from jumping/falling from WTC.

I'm looking up photos of Audrey Hepburn in the 80-90s, and look what I found.

Hepburn and Trump photoed together at a Casita Maria Fiesta Benefit, circa 1992. Holy hell.

This is what the entire world will look like if we continue on our current course.

Very early color photographs by absolute genius Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii.

And then this.

This is Tolstoy. Who died in 1910. Imagine getting this guy to sit down for long enough to take a color photograph when that was actually a laborious process at the time. You had to sit still for it and maintain your expression. Exposure times for a successful picture were very long. So you'd have to maintain your expression or the picture would end up blurred.

That's why old photos often look so stilted.

Seriously look at this photographer's work though. He was fucking amazing at a time color photography was virtually unknown.

In 1882 George Johnson legitimately purchased a horse. At least he thought he had. Johnson unknowingly bought the horse from the man who stole it. When Johnson was found in possession he was accused of horse theft. He was hanged despite his pleas that he had no prior knowledge the horse was stolen.

It wasn’t until after his death that it was determined he had told the truth. The epitaphs on grave markers serve as an exoneration of Johnson. He is buried in the Boothill Cemetery in Tombstone, Arizona.

In 1944 a kitten named George (short for General Electric) was saved from drowning by a U.S. Navy crew member. George was then photographed and given a liberty card and detailed health record. Source.

Reportedly, the writings are also done by them, as they were sent to friends/fans of the famous hip-hop legends.

Neolithic_chisels_4100-2700_BC.jpg

Neolithic chisels made of stone, found in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Dated to 4100 to 2700 BC, I'm doing some historical research at the moment and these are some rather beautiful neolithic tools and if you look closely at them you can see how the materials changed for the form an function remained the same - we nailed the form an function if not the materials eons ago.
