A funny photo of the late Bob Barker and comedian Adam Sandler portrayed with their Best Fight Award at the 1996 MTV Movie Awards

The case of Joe Arridy is a sad one he was execute for murder and rape in 1939 here is the issue though he never did it. He had an IQ of 46 and his confession was known to be false and though they fought to get his case overturned the powers that be wanted to execute him rather then admit their mistake. Later on he was exonerated after his death.

The man would sit in his cell and play with a train set the Warden gave him and the day he was executed they asked what he wanted for a last meal and he had no understanding of what it meant nad asked for ice cream and then for it to be put in the fridge so he could enjoy it the next day.

Grand Theft Auto V’s cover art for the XBOX 360.

The game officially turns 10 years old today, as it has been put in the same place as Minecraft, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Fortnite as one of the most influential and record breaking games of all time.

For his last meal, Arridy requested ice cream. When questioned about his impending execution, he showed "blank bewilderment".[9] He did not understand the meaning of the gas chamber, telling the warden "No, no, Joe won't die."[12] Before being taken away to the chamber, Arridy reportedly had not finished his ice cream and requested for the remaining ice cream to be refrigerated so he could eat it later, not understanding that he was to be executed soon and would not return. He was reported to have smiled while being taken to the gas chamber. Momentarily nervous, he calmed down when the warden grabbed his hand and reassured him.[9][13] Members of the victim's family did not witness the execution.[1] Roy Best was noted to have been crying during the execution, with him pleading with Teller Ammons, the Governor of Colorado, to commute Arridy's sentence before the execution.[14] Ammons refused to commute Arridy's sentence or to pardon him.
:sigh:

The man would sit in his cell and play with a train set the Warden gave him
The only bright side to this story is that it sounds like Joe was treated better in prison. He was reportedly abused and even sexually assaulted on the outside, but supposedly all the guards and inmates
Both in his neighborhood and at the school, he was often mistreated and beaten by his peers. In 1929, while living back in Pueblo, Arridy was sexually assaulted by a group of teen boys, who forced him to perform oral sex on them
Meanwhile, apparently the guards and inmates all like Joe and treated him well.

To stay on stay on topic, here's Roy Best, the otherwise infamous prison warden who bought Joe Arridy that train:
