Every time I talk about Dan Schneider, people walk away.

It's pointless. He made the network a lot of money and people covered up for him for years. Everyone from that era is guilty.

Look for stuff about him on Crazy Days and Nights.

Why people irl stick up for him despite the mountains of evidence continues to baffle me. Were his shows THAT good?

More like their crimes were that bad and everyone was in on it.

You had some very creative, charismatic producers working at a network that was eager to give them space to be successful. They mixed with young, precocious girls whose Hollywood parents were very detached. They got a lot of attention from producers and unwholesome relationships emerged.

The culture is difficult to describe, but imagine production staffs that are equally devoted to the personal satisfaction of the producers along with the success of the show. People were very eager to advance their careers and had no problem crossing lines to get ahead. There was a way of thinking about what went on, instead of saying it was wrong you'd say it was wild. If you could make that leap, you were part of the club.

No one has an interest in explaining what they saw because no one's hands are clean.

Also, there's this notion I've heard about, which was explained to me this way: the only people who got hurt are the talent, and talent can be replaced. Had they not gotten screwed up there, they would have gotten screwed up elsewhere. Hollywood was a very destructive place.

I remembered reading about her autistic freakout.

The dude was apparently a photography student, and likely had no clue she was. I believe he was practising photography. She was pissed at him for taking a photo of her son at the park, fully clothed, but it was okay for her to have photos of her son nude and all wrapped up. I wonder if she could get investigated for child pornography. Her sons a minor and no "context" can "justify" that photo.

I've already said it in another thread, but allegedly her ex husband wants custody of their son and the CPS may have visited her house earlier this year. Something must be up.

Oldddddd thread BUT I have endless photos of myself naked as a child. It really means nothing. What muddies the waters is that such images now end up on social media and the 'net. It looks like she was flicking through images and that one happened to be in there. Obviously nude photos of children should NEVER be posted online. Really no nude photos of ANYONE should be online unless you're happy for your best friends dads, brothers, cousins, sisters, grandad to regularly be wanking off to your pictures. But privacy is dead so.
