For recent stuff, horrible subs is good. But for dubs I don't know because I don't watch dubbed stuff.
>Horrible subs
>Good

Nyaa usually has a lot of dubs when the show in question finishes but I don't know if they have the dubs which release about the same time as the subs. But why would you want to watch dubs and have to hear the Funimation crew's voices?

Used AnimeFreak to watch some Jojo. I Kissanime temp banned me because of Brave's adblock.

I use Nyaa, but if you have a replacement for horrible subs I'm all ears.

I have no idea why you'd want to listen to that trash either, but some people just love their dubs.

And that's why I pirate all of Crunchy Roll's shit. Same with Funimation. Fuck them both. I hate dubs anyway.

I think at this point they're using it as a tax writeoff. I think they've lost more subscribers for green lighting this than anything else, because, even as shitty as some Netflix anime is (stop over-using CGI Netflix, you fucks unless you pay real money for it), its like miles better compared to whatever these fat dangerhair cunts are making.

So one possible reason is that this isn't coming anytime soon is that Crunchyroll doesn't want people to remember this thing exists. This coming out would cause an even bigger subscriber drop off lol. I would not be shocked if they just develop it and ashcan it to keep whatever rights they have and never let it see the light of day.
I've thought about pirating because I despise digital and actually want to own my shit but I'm terrified of Uncle Sam paying me a visit.

I'd buy blu-rays (even though importing is a pain - e.g. I miscalculated shipping schedules last month and will now only get my KF shirts and hoodie in February), but anything but the handful of titles I saw as a kid I need to try first because I don't want to end up with a closet full of pantsu flashes.

Sentai doesn't license outside the English-speaking countries, and Hidive cockblocks my card for the same reason Null's storefront did.

I'm ambivalent on dubs. VAs can get the delivery wrong or have annoying voices, but the cycle of read-watch-read-watch-read-watch sometimes gets to me, plus the subs occasionally give advance warning of onscreen events that are meant to be surprising or shocking. But if money is on the line, I'd rather not send any the dubbers' way.

(To clarify, I don't mind reading. I love reading, but having to wait for the next line, as well as watching events already conveyed by text re-happen on video, is somewhat awkward. It's a bit like that old Superman comic where he says "gotta overtake the train", the narrator says "Superman is overtaking the train", and the art shows Supes overtaking the train.)

Dubs when done right are just as good or in rare cases better than the original Japanese version. Granted it is just a literal handful not counting toes or swinging cod compared to the hundreds of bad dubs done within the last 30 years.

Because if it is allowed to not be released, the misogynists win or something.

Hilariously, all Netflix anime adaptions, whether CG or not, look a thousand times better than this, including the Mexican Martial Arts one with Danny Trejo. I find it fucking amazing how a company that supposedly specializes in anime can't do an anime art style while Netflix whose focus is on movies, does anime better than a company focusing on one. And even funnier, Netflix hires Japanese animators and writers while this one is all American production.

I mean what the fuck sort of joke is this?

That's pretty much the deal with SJWs.

Something is created: music, movie, book, whatever.
People like it.
Creators become soon the actual experts on the matter.
A group of people joins and say "I want to be part of this, but be in charge!"
Use politics to get way with it
Say "I can do it better because I'm [minority]"
Scream and cry so loud that original members have to leave to give them space.
Creation is ruined.

Netflix, as you say, hires experts on the matter.

HGS is created by stupid women who one day woke up and said "omg, I like Anime, like, I'm very sure I can do anime too!".

To put it another way. "Nerd stuff is cool. What are all these fat, ugly neckbeards doing here? We've got to get rid of them."

Years later and it still feels good to have never fallen for the paid anime streaming scam.
- Are you in the first world?
- Do you watch anime?
- Are you in education, employment, or training?
- Do you have no access to private trackers?

If yes to all four, you probably are losing money by searching for, watching and cataloguing true and honest fansub releases instead of youtube-dl'ing the shit out of a streaming service.

I remember when Crunchyroll was just one of many pirate streaming sites you could watch popular anime on which uploaded fansubs. Quality was always variable, like one site uploaded troll subs for the ending of Code Geass which made me sad way back in the day but normally you'd get something acceptable. Then I got sick of broken links and shit subs and realized torrents existed where I could get the whole thing with consistent quality and never looked back.

I think you mean "OMG, Anime is Fashionable, Let me watch it..EWW GROSS IT HAS FIGHTING AND TITS! we need to change it to something I like more!"

This is basically every SJW in every creative profession out there.

I just want a good streaming service that has a large library, doesn't fuck with the content and I can get it uncensored and without fighting fifty four companies for the rights to watch.

This however, does not exist.
