This, and also it's a result of telling kids they all should fulfill their dreams. Just bc you like to draw doesn't mean you need to be an animator or illustrator. This person could have got an actual paying job while also enjoying art as a hobby. It's almost like burning bridges meant stranding yourself into unemployment, Raye sweaty.
Lack of critical honesty in telling the kids their drawings aren't that good to they're such utter shit, that their cave wall drawing ancestors are fucking ashamed to be related to them. This, and also it's a result of telling kids they all should fulfill their dreams. Nah, I think it's just poisoning your kid's minds with all that stupid ass "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life" horseshit. The point of work, of employment, is to be able to survive and support yourself and your family, not to have fun. That's what hobbies are for. Too many kids grow up thinking that hobbies should also be careers and then we get stuck with all these useless mouths like Raye and her ilk.Lack of critical honesty in telling the kids their drawings aren't that good to they're such utter shit, that their cave wall drawing ancestors are fucking ashamed to be related to them.

I think it's the midwits in reality. We're looking at people who were kinda decent at whatever hobbies they had growing up, so their parents, teachers, and friends all told them they should go to college and make a career out of it. However, creative fields are extremely bloated with regard to incoming talent, and so only the best/nepohires can stay in the industry. You can also fall out of the field at any time if you fail to keep up with the trends or become unpopular. Ultimately, this results in a lot of people with no useful skills outside of some niche creative profession who are now faced with the reality that the show's over and it's time to get a real job.Nah, I think it's just poisoning your kid's minds with all that stupid ass "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life" horseshit. They'll never be able to write a suicide note as good as an English major's I can tell you that much for free.Do you think your average theater kid can stomach a real job?
This looks like if someone on Deviantart circa. 2005 was doing the art for some fanwork otome game. This is one of her more recent works.

So has she released her shitty BL game or not? Because she's obviously not making money off of it either way. This is one of her more recent works.

Unfortunately Manga and Anime are treated as genres/styles in the west rather than a medium.I hate this. Manga ain't a style...
I saw these stickers, and she has some sense of posing and weight but her art is rather stiff. She's the kind of artist that wants to make her art pretty without studying the influences of her influences. It's been over three years since it ended and she hasn't progressed much at all.Her art really does look like she traces off of those old Scholastic "How To Draw Manga" books from the aughts. Specifically this one.View attachment 6908129
The issue with her art is that lacks any form of stylistic flair, it's very color by numbers type stuff. Sure she has the basics of form and pose down but that's all she has: basics. And for what it's worth I do genuinely feel bad for her, it sucks to ruthlessly pursue an autistic passion project like this and then have everyone tell you what a retarded idea it is after you've put in an inordinate amount of effort and made a complete idiot out of yourself, but at the same time I can't feel too bad for her given what a conceited cunt she is.I saw these stickers, and she has some sense of posing and weight but her art is rather stiff. She even made a cope comic talking about HGS. Pictures work if you click on them.

Lmao she still draws herself looking like a girl.
In other words Raye has no dirt on her.Raye is your typical pampered only child who never faced failure as a child and was either never challenged or mommy and daddy mollycoddled her and fixed her fuckups for her. This is the first time she's ever faced true failure in her life and it's caused her to death spiral because she never had those necessary and healthy experiences of childhood failure that would force her to grow and develop tools and mindset necessary to get her through this.

Combine this with the fact that she has no real friends or social life and is also (presumably) estranged from her family at this point and a meltdown like this was inevitable as far back as five years ago when the project was first greenlit.
Which isn't too dissimilar to how people view western animation already.Unfortunately Manga and Anime are treated as genres/styles in the west rather than a medium.
