oh man it was so good to be outside for an extended period of time.

i explored an area of my neighborhood that i had no idea was so big and expansive, and there was so much more going on than i ever thought. for years and years. and of course i brought the dog.

so many surprises today. i can only imagine what it'll be like when the snow's finally gone!!

Excellent. The weathers cooled down and there's a new girl at my work who has an amazing arse !
Life is good.

I finally beat level 181 in Candy Crush on Facebook!

Also I walked the dog.

Second day of exploring a SUPER AWESOME AMAZING area around my home. Unfortunately my brother is suffering the exact same thing I myself got over a few days ago (crapping out water, pain in all muscles, killer headache, really tired) so so much for him having his hours changed to be on the same schedule as I am. I wish I might have been carrying a camera or had someone else to get pulled on by the dog. I'm way, way behind on drawing and I'm really tired after walks that take hours and go in all directions, but this one, which beats the crap out of the exploration walk I had yesterday, was really something. And now I'm extra-tired. But I wish I could keep going.

I have some personal things to catch up on but the semi-public/tresspassing-is-a-non-issue areas I explored just keep calling out to me. When the snow is gone (oh boy that's going to take a while) maybe I'll take care of some personal stuff over there. Nice change of scenery. I'm ABSOLUTELY going to revisit those areas soon, and I'll be sure to take my camera. And hopefully have my brother hold the leash.

So much AWESOME, AMAZING stuff that had been right nearby and I failed to realize it for years and years. What have I been doing with my life.

My area has undergone quite a bit of expansion. I saw some pretty cool houses (which I'll admit I want to show you, I hope I won't get in trouble and of course I'll blur out sensitive stuff), some still under construction. Met some real nice people who would be happy to meet me and my dog again. Of course I also met lots of dogs.

Okay I gotta do some stuff but man that was awesome but I'm probably going to collapse soon.

Being jobless has its perks.

In figure drawing this morning class I was stupid and reached my hand into my art case to get a pencil, in which I got pierced by my x-acto knife stuck in between my fingers. A little bit later I managed to get a paper cut across the palm of the same hand. My right hand has taken so much abuse today and makes it difficult to work on things. (:_(

^ augh man that sucks. but think of all the awesome battle scars you'll have. to tell stories about.

Yeah it's a real pain, but I do enjoy battle scars!

Don't chew on it, or we'll have to bring out the Cone of Shame.

Today I woke up with a light-sensitive migraine that stayed with me the whole day at work, and the break room stopped carrying Tylenol. I'm a game tester.

My hand is still messed up and in pain, but luckily I didn't need any stitches and the doctors just slapped some ointment and bandages on it. Unfortunately, I can't draw for some time due to how sore it is so it's making me feel rather down. (:_(

Class had let out early, and I was waiting for my mom to pick me up as usual. Didn't get a response, so I texted her again. Still nothing. Two more texts and a call later, I was really starting to worry, so I texted my dad to see if he could reach her somehow (he works in New York pretty much all day). I was even considering calling my friend to come get me. About fifteen minutes after this, she finally answered with "K I was walking the dogs."

FUCKING

KEEP YOUR PHONE WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES, WOMAN

This happened:

The house behind the neighbors plugged their keruig in the bathroom left hot coals next to their fence. My dad is on the fire department so he was out there with the hose already when the trucks pulled up.

the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and my faith in the goodness of humanity has been redeemed. Happy Friday all.

Today, I flew to Italy with my family. I'm currently staying in some hostel in Pisa and enjoying some tea with cookies.

I like it here! I really like the old town with its tiny back alleys branching off from the main streets. I also appreciate how the city is very much awake and bustling even now, at 22 PM. This is such a stark contrast to my dead end home town whose streets get almost completely empty after sundown. Exploring the dead town at night has that surreal, dreamlike vibe to it, but the loneliness and desolation really get to me after a while.

I'm sad about turning down a job offer, especially since it would have paid a really solid wage and I have no other prospects at the moment (other than school), but like I said in a previous post....the company was very shady and was located between an abandoned factory and a Spaghetti Warehouse. I got a lot of bad vibes and decided to go with my gut feeling on this.

Ah, I'm in complete mirth and bliss. Just watching some Pokemon season 1 (I do things like this for nostalgia, since I'm really into it), and I feel like a million bucks.

Work was kinda shitty today, dropped a fork in a patrons cup, crap like that is always embarrassing… But then I got my liquor order in and stocked the liquor room. My boss kinda wants my car to move. It has been 2 weeks since its been broke. We have the part on order, but things just take their time to get to these islands. My purple car… just sitting on that dirt road. Can't move it because it may damage the axle further… It still ignites, but I hope I can ride it again.
