somewhat less sick today.
applied for work online again, hopefully this time i'll get a job despite my annoying chronic condition.
happy to see delicious cwc videos!
glad that my pen pal is active online and being awesome
really frustrated that making art and working on improvement is such a huge, tedious, frustrating chore, but oh well, gotta do it.

hope to go for a big walk today.

I had to take chocolate laxatives today. Yes, they tasted exactly like that shitty holiday candy that dollar general sells.

I smoked 2 packs of cigarettes and am just starting a third, as a Christian Love Day present for Chris-chan. And I'm well on my way to developing l-canc, nothing of value will be lost.

Job applications, homework, and still stuck on this stupid college essay. I've been working on this too long, my obsessive perfectionist side is coming out.

You guys think you have a lot of work and stress in college just wait until you get out of college! :D

I'm doing OK. I hope I'll get a job soon.

I've just been chilling out at home the past few days, nothing special, plus the weather was nice the last few days.

Jesus, what a day.

I kept rolling around in bed until about four in the morning for some reason. Granted, I didn't exactly go to bed early, but still. I was woken up at 7:00 and have not rested since. Thank God for coffee. Went to class and heard this thing:

I mean yeah, Chopin's great, I guess, but I didn't think most of the stuff I heard today was as good as this which is a shame because Schubert was a really under appreciated composer. Checked out a book from the library today which contains the wittiest things ever said in congress from 1789-1961. Read that for a bit and put a friend of mine into a laughter coma with a satirical essay I wrote about Mozart. Since I didn't have much else to do past that, I decided to go with some friends to volunteer at the environmental center on campus. They were going as part of a lab, I just went for the sake of going which I found out I could totally do. Got bit by a ton of fire ants and my back hurts like hell, but hey, it was fun and I got to meet someone new who agrees that gay guys give much better haircuts than the aging women around here who don't understand that I don't want my whole god damn head shaved because I'm not in a gang and I don't want people to think I am. Also met someone who works there who was your typical, "everything is beautiful, man," biology student who congratulated me on being the first person to have longer hair than him. Then we all went out for burgers and shakes and lived happily ever after. Well, not really. We're all pretty sore now and I got cactus needles all over my right hand.

I got a call from one of the places I applied to four hours after I submitted an application. That absolutely made my day. Thanks for taking a chance on me, Applebee's manajerk.

I'm certainly doing a lot better than yesterday. I wasn't even the cause of what happened yesterday (the only think I do is overreact, but all of us do that), and every day is a new reset button of happiness made from within. :heart-full:

But then today, on my way to the ferry, I found my car's tire shredded up. Great, now I gotta be a man and get this fixed. Spring Break is right around the corner, and all the Spring Breakers love that purple Suzuki.

and I have another exam tomorrow.
Well good luck on your exam tomorrow. I had one yesterday and I'm anxious to know how I did on that.

It wasn't a bad dream....

Egon Spengler really is dead. :cryblood: :cryblood: :(

Why couldn't God take me instead? *SIGH*

Thought my job interview with the oil/shale company went well today (will find out whether or not I got the job on Monday). In case it doesn't work out though, I heard back from a place that makes industrial welding equipment and they want to have a phone interview on Monday as well. Hopefully I hear from some more places this week so I can cover even more bases in case both of these companies decide I'm a useless shit.

So my eldest daughter had an award ceremony at her school tonight. She protested because my wife and I decided that she should wear a dress. I put on slacks, a coat, and a tie and we all went.

And we were the best dressed people there. Everybody else was wearing jeans and sneakers. Even the guy giving out the awards.

I'm just wondering what happened since I was in school. My mother would spend the entire night before an award ceremony fussing over what I was going to wear, or how I should have my hair combed, or if my socks would match my shoes. And if my mom went to the award ceremony, she always dressed professionally. I remember my father wearing his Air Force blue uniform to one of my band recitals.

I dunno. I guess I'm getting old. It's just that I've always strongly believed that if you take pride in something, that the way you present yourself should reflect that. I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing people in pajama pants at Wal-Mart or on airplanes.

George brand suits are EXPENSIVE!

I feel you. Anything school related (concerts, cerimonies, etc.) required a button up shirt and slacks at a minimum and where I lived you never saw people out shopping in pajamas. I grew up in a rural area so I'm not sure if it's a country vs. city thing but where I live now (city) I feel sort of over dressed if I'm out at Walmart and wearing blue jeans. At least people in Target still wear jeans while they shop.

Yeah, I can't stand it when people wear pajamas in public either. It just screams LAZY in my opinion. I guess I'll just have to shop at Target more.

Trying to be mature and phone calling about my student loans. I already hate speaking to people over the phone, but worst of all in these types of calls are those... droning robots going "PLEASE ENTER 1 FOR THIS 2 FOR THAT" and just won't ever shut up and put me on hold. I don't care if its a 15 minute wait, I just don't want to interact with robots!

She's like "Tell me your birthday."

And then as I say it, SHE INTERRUPTS ME! I have a hard enough time on the phone as it is. Grrrr. :x
