I'm actually preparing to do a parody video about DSP as me being DerpSillyHolmes "unboxing" a webcam "box". XD It's going to be fun!
Is there going to be a parody about DSP playing say a fighting game or roguelike? On that same note, this isn't trolling right? Just a satire or parody of one of Phil's videos?

Sushi is very variable depending on who makes it and what you get. California rolls and Alaska rolls and other Americanized dishes are almost universally palatable if you like fish, but more authentic Japanese stuff (like cold octopus and things that you can't readily identify) can be much more of an acquired taste.

I'm an American and I'd be down to try the authentic stuff. I just tried white tuna, that's all. Not bad.

Also, I learned that I should not drink and shop. Or post online. LOL

i've been really, really tired for this week. maybe my adrenaline glands are shit nowadays, i don't even know.

bleeeeeeeeehhhhhhhk

My English class was cancelled today which made me a bit sad since I wanted to turn in my rough draft for an essay. Hopefully that doesn't happen on Wednesday.

One of our indoor cats ran off today. It's been about 7.5 hours and he hasn't been back. It's a cold night and I'm worried about him because he usually comes back when he realizes that the outside isn't all that great. We're hoping he'll come back for breakfast or dinner. So fingers crossed.

The difference between Americanized sushi and Japanese sushi can be pretty extreme. I spent a semester abroad in Osaka about twelve years ago and my homestay family took me to a authentic Japanese sushi restaurant--it's pretty much a ball of rice with a huge chunk of raw fish on top. It may or not be wrapped with a band of seaweed. The rice may be stuffed with wasabi, or it may be provided in a small bowl.

It's certainly an acquired taste, especially if you're used to California rolls.

Still no sign of Clyde (name not related to Cash, I swear). We put out food tonight and I'll keep watch again until some wee hour. God this sucks. (:_(

Even though my day just started I can say this: The bus I was on got into a crash. I don't think anyone was hurt but the person the bus driver crashed into was pretty much angry.

One of my dogs has blood in her urine and my uncle has been moved to the hospital. So there's that.

had a job interview today. let's see where that goes.

tomorrow i'll apply for a different job just to see where that gets me.

I'm never going to get over my fear of frying food. Tried doing some chicken tonight, but I was so unsure of myself, my sister came and tried to help me. But of course, I wasn't listening to her and she yelled at me... Anyway. I just can't handle all the popping the oil and lard makes when its warming up.

Seriously, the devil invented frying.

Wonder how I would have made it in the old west.

Poorly.

I guess you'd get used to it, which is why I keep trying to conquer my fear (this was #5) but this time, the lard starting bubbling and erupting and popping those bubbles. :'( :c (and yes, I am totally aware all of these is normal. Doesn't change the fact at all these noises scare and freak me out.)

In other news, I might be moving onto a boat in the near future.

Mine was a piece of white tuna on top of a ball of rice, basically. I had both ginger and wasabi provided, and the sushi itself wasn't bad. :) The stuff's just really basic but it's a good start. I had no seaweed with it, but I wouldn't mind, I actually had a friend in high school who let me try some he brought.

I planted a young mulberry tree in my backyard today. Barely 4 feet tall and a finger's diameter. Hopefully the bipolar Kansas spring weather doesn't kill it off...
