About an hour ago my mother died. I was there, along with my dad, my little sister, and a few of my mom's close friends. I was holding her hand. I told her how much I love her. And I told her she did so much for me, and she didn't need to worry about me anymore.

That's so sad, it's hard witnessing someone close to you die. I hope you and your family is doing alright. My condolences.

It's good that you were able to say that to her. Know that it's really the best thing you could have done.

My condolences.

This is one of the few post I have read that are sorrowful. Aside from that:

At least you were there, telling your mother how much you love her.

Oh my God, that's awful! My condolences to you and your family.

I've been through the death of a parent and you have my deepest condolences.

It's a club nobody wants to be a part of and I'm upset to hear about your situation.

Again, my condolences.

Having lost a parent my self, you have my deepest condolences.
It's good that you were able to be there with her and tell her how much you loved her. I wish you and your family the best and you all have my condolences.

I'm terribly sorry to hear it. It's fucking tough, but you'll get through. I'm glad you got to be with her when she left.

It rained today. This is a big fucking deal to me in the desert.

I think I should have studied more for my chemistry test. I mostly guessed on the multiple choice where I didn't know how to utilize the equations...

Good news!: In about 3 or 4 weeks I'll be completely self employed. Not having a job to get up for at 2300h each night and getting a paycheck every 2 weeks like clockwork is both awesome and incredibly scary to think about.

Bad news!: I'm on day 4 of some wicked awesome insomnia. 5 years of night shift work is the disease and insomnia is the side effect.

My fingers are extremely blue because being tired and zombie-ish lately, I haven't been thinking things through. I was gonna see if I could put a Copic brush nib in a Sharpie, but then realized I was doing something pretty stupid way too early. But sometime soon I'll get a package full of Copic nibs, so I'll experiment then instead of squeezing a saturated brush point.

So yeah, I've been all about MARKERS MARKERS MARKERS MORE MARKERS lately.

Man I want a big pack of Sharpie Twin-Tips, a loooong syringe that I'm not afraid to get alcoholy (alcohol can leave a weird goo residue sometimes, I don't know why. think it's just the 70% that does that) (see I also have weird plastic pens that I'm paranoid about exposing to alcohols, so I gotta err on the side of caution), and more bottles of 99% isopropyl (only one source for that around here, and I really hope that store doesn't drop them because that would really suck)

and more sketching pens.

and better skills. How I wish I could level up faster.

But most of all, I wish I was doing this flurry of art activity years and years ago, but I was extremely depressed at the time, so yeah, gotta make up for lost time.

Had my first exam for this college semester. It was in macroeconomics and having taken the exam, I feel like I might of done okay. I do not like it when it comes to graphs and your trying to put the dashes for the points. I feel I might be a bit off when I try to do that.

I didn't know you were interested in economics.

I've been OK. It's getting warmer and sunnier out. I can't wait until spring.

I'm trying to keep busy. I'm almost done with my 7th course of 9 courses that I need to take for my pharmacy technician certificate. The next one is pharmacology 201 (mostly anatomy and how drugs affect it) and that's the last of the courses proper. Then I have a career prep course and externship to do.
