I have a feeling that most English dub scripts are bad on purpose, since the source material is usually shit and it's obvious the VAs are just improvising like with what happened to the Ghost Stories dub.

I actually know the source of that GOOD FUCKING LORD one as the source used to get posted on /v/ all the time. The plot was about an average nerd who managed to obtain the power of having anyone who touches his body get horny. That got the attention of some multimillionaire who wants that power for his own, which almost gets the nerd killed on a few occasions... yeah.

Well the original Japanese dub for Bible Black has a lot of the exact same bad lines, so yeah. It just sounds more hilarious in English combined with cringey tones typical of any bad English dub.
