Help me identify a smell - It's a hood smell

It smells chemically, sweet, like candy. It purveys the hood. Almost smells like gasoline but doesn't burn your nose. When you smell it, you can smell it for blocks. Can cause headaches and you can almost taste it in your mouth when you can smell it.

Very well could be. After I smoked some dog shit and red hot chili peppers I've started noticing it around certain houses
