Bought the game. Got told to play with a gamepad but couldn't make sense of controls, went into some bug jungle shithole alone, couldn't sprint or dive, felt like a horror movie. Somehow nailed an orbital strike on the boss and got out. Fuck playing with a controller, went back to my mouse.

Some missions later ran into a 140 level squad obviously farming Super Credits on the easiest difficulty, just nuking the target on spawn then driving around for pickups, then resetting. Somehow they didn't kick me, despite them spawning jetpacks and vehicles while my level 5 ass only had a bomb and the cape on my back. They let me ride shotgun on their Toyota technical to shoot bugs and press the bunker buttons. Went for a real mission after an hour and still took me along, my loadout was shit so they spawned me a Metal Gear to use.

I can now buy a warbond. Good game.

Those farmers didn't know the method; it's faster to sweep a map and abandon mission with squad than to sweep a map and extract. Once you complete the main objective, you're forced to extract.

That's what they were doing, the host was cancelling and returning to ship then restarting. They only extracted twice out of dozens of resets. I was just following them to be honest.

I sometimes like to farm solo, and if low levels join, I'll usually extract just so they get xp. Granted, I'm a firm believer in not trying to optimize the fun out of the game, so helping a noobie helps break up the monotony.

Also, Youtube recommended me this short, and I just wanted to share it with my fellow Bug Diver haters.

Not gonna lie I do the missions sometimes when I’m farming because it’s kind of boring.

One time I brought the new guy into D10, he did pretty good, although it was squids where the starting weapons are enough if you’re good.
