I try to keep the SEAF people alive on principle but between them not being able to vault a simple traffic gate and it being a miracle when they throw a grenade or fire an EAT at the enemy instead of teamkilling themselves or others I don't feel bad when the gaggle that make it to extract eat the celebratory stratagems people like to throw at the ramp of Pelican-1. It is nice, though, when they pick off a voteless straggler or two sneaking up on you.

The thing is I'm not going into the Helldivers discord where they ban you for rejecting their furfag mods
Gotta also remember that the server has a true, honest, unironic, frequently used roleplay channel where people roleplay as Helldivers and Eagle Pilots.

figured out good way to kill the fucking leviathans
I recommend you bring an AT Emplacement or some kind of AT explosive weapon, since you can blow up chunks from Leviathans and from there I think you might be able to shoot into their wounds with certain AP guns.

Yeah the AT emplacement works pretty good on the defense maps, but unless you're playing with friends or a rando who will cover your ass while you use the turret, its not so useful on the other mission types. MG turret or gatling turret just dome you when they spin around. So basically, if you get a bunch of crayon-eating bug divers who can't cooperate, AT turret is not a good choice.

I'm not sure where he was aiming because I was looking elsewhere but one guy I played with recently was dropping the fuckers on the regular with an AT emplacement.

On every mission type I played with this guy on he was clearing the sky of leviathans and made the tripods reconsider their career path.

Yeah AT turret is really really good, at the cost of no mobility. To beat the voteless, you need mobility.

PSA: if you see your teammate pop an AT turret, watch his back, it's worth it.

which part he was hitting the leviathans in
I think I read the wings are the weak point. And if you really want to know you can always check the wiki

What I want to know is how to deal with the excessive jetpack squiggers on the repel invasion mission. If they reach a critical mass it is not easy to clear up. And the bubble shield is still useless. It should cover a smaller area and withstand more hits.

Leviathan is the fleshmob of the sky. You need to do 15k damage to it and all parts take the same amount, so it matters little where you hit it. Damage that goes over an individual part's health is wasted (As in hitting a part that has 1000 health left with RR's 3200 = The part is broken and only 1000 damage is applied)

Shooting the wings exposes the innards that take the same amount of damage, but have less armor so weapons like autocannons can contribute. Destroying the wing removes the turret as well, but hitting a turret doesn't appear to damage the wing.

Sounds like a skill issue honestly

No wonder the SEAF are in awe of the Helldivers.

was in a game (diff8 )where a single POI handed out 100 super credits. is this a rare thing, or is there one SC drop on the whole city you have to go search out?

I've had that happen and it's like 1 percent chance with a super credit pick-up to happen with. Thus, it's always worth checking out any possible point where you can pick them up.

A patch just dropped. They changed the Masters of Ceremony armor passive so it gives the siege-ready reload speed buff as well as increased melee damage.

At this point I'd prefer if Arrowhead started focusing on adding new stuff piecemeal in the superstore. It feels like they are ripping out their hair to create interesting Warbonds that are worth a damn. The first warbond gave you three new armors and 4-5 new weapons that felt interesting and useful to use. This one just has two new armors (third one you have to buy in the superstore) and two new weapons that feels like the Devs slapped together in a day.

Back at launch i remember warbonds were supposed to come out every month and the community said to take longer on them to focus on fixing the stability of the game and quality control. With how little they are putting into war bonds now, I have no clue how they planned to originally pump them out that quickly.

Perhaps they simply did the classic overpromise and make the horrible realization that you've just created a massive workload that can't be handled in a reasonable manner.

What I don't understand is why they're still winging about super credit sales keeping the company afloat considering the game sold better than anyone's wildest expectations in the early days. Are they lying, retarded, or did they have a weird deal with Sony
