Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

I expect a full nothing burger response on the matter. These "cheat mods" are used a tiny fraction of the playerbase. If you're on console, just turn off crossplay and you'll literally never see them. If you're host, just kick the cheaters. If they ban mods entirely, it will undoubtedly be a shitshow. At least until they modders find a way around it. Modders always find a way around it.

Regardless, I await the chimping out glazers will do once they realize gameplay mods are here to stay since they think the only mods that should be allowed are degenerate loli gooner ones.

I think if they gave any amount of shit about it they'd have C&D'd the custom galactic war. That's basically "a second Helldivers 2" and I could see (assuming I was of the mind of Sony or AH) them telling them to knock it off to protect their brand. But as far as I'm aware it's still going.

I've said it many times this game is a reverse No Man's Sky, at this point it's much more interesting to see how dedicated the devs are to ruining the game than playing the game itself.

I can't really think off the top of my head of another case like this, a game that comes out to an uproar, almost by accident, then the devs spend the next 2 years peeling away all aspects that made the game fun.
