I mean is it crass? Yeah. But he's at least saying he wants to deal with it and is blaming his jannies which whatever. I don't wanna sound like I'm taking his side because it's the lesser problem to loli pedophiles, but those fucks and their defenders are obviously trying to take things out of context. A minor role does make sense in regards to limiting visible channels or chats, but I personally would, if I had such a server, say no minors just to avoid headaches like this.
Really great leader, here. "None of this is my fault, and anything you can prove is my fault is actually a joke!"
A good thing to keep in mind whenever making any sort of callout video or post is to, first of all, dot your i's and cross your t's. Shit like his discord not only having a role specifically to denote who is a minor and who isn't, but having discussion in main chats that go against his "strict" no nsfw rule involving moderators and sometimes himself isn't doing wonders for the guy trying to bring attention to "pedophilia" in the helldivers community. His responses, from what I've seen, have been nothing but shifting blame and going "nuh-uh!"
Any callout post, at the end of the day, is really a game of optics. He already got off on a bad foot by censoring a swiss roll and calling it fetish content. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but the second you do something like it, it is very easy to spin that into being purposely misleading. Now with the shitstorm surrounding his very own discord, and his piss poor response to it, it is now trivial to write off his video without having to watch it.
My boomer ass remembers being too young for counter strike but no way in hell I'd ever let anyone know that they were playing with a 10 year old back in 2001. Of course if you typed enough stupid shit someone could figure out, but why would you do that? Lol even worse for the gmod era kids that got recorded and btfo'd for their retarded behavior.
Like, no reason you need a space to share with minors or LARPing minors. Doesn't matter what he says, it matters that his space allowed interactions.
I’m hoping this will further make normies aware of these faggots. Because now they keep coming into spaces where the average person knows about Dragonball or One Piece and that is the extent of their anime knowledge. And that average person finds loli as disgusting as a base level.
And these retards are calling those people with common sense pedophiles. Let’s see how that works out for them Cotton!
In all fairness, it's working decently well since Thighnir has a habit of shoving his foot in his mouth and being unable to make a actual response. Reminds me of the various callouts of Pyrocynical and how they all fell apart.

All it takes is for them to go after one normie creator that genuinely has nothing for them to latch onto and it’s over. It’s honestly so fucking annoying that every one of these anti lolifag crusades gets started by someone with some genuine weight only to find out they’re just as bad as the enemy.
It literally feeds their delusions whenever it happens.
New Warbond is out I guess, I don't know if it released earlier or this morning but whatever man.
There is a new weapon in the superstore, it's a weird multishot laser SMG. I haven't been able to use it yet (it's also been months since I've played).
The new SMG is inaccurate but fast firing, there's no charge up like the Scythe and it's Medium armor pen. It's fine, I think it's fun, kinda what I've been wanting with a laser weapon for awhile now.
The new major campaign will reward the new tank, which has dual rotary cannons along with missile launchers, they released a trailer/teaser for it.
The turret on it still doesn't turn lmfao
Current major order allows you to call in the tank, it even has smokes for the driver to deploy.

Genuinely what the fuck were they smoking when they made this piece of shit? 2.1k ammo for both cannons which have to reload after 300 rounds fired with a guided missle that you cant fucking aim well bc the turret doesnt turn
The sticky grenade pistol is great. It's literally the grenade in pistol form.
The rifle/shotgun combo feels like complete garbage, it does no damage, reloading takes ages, and ergo is super low.
The laser SMG feels like a fun bullet hose until it overheats (very quickly) and is very inaccurate.
The incindiary impact grenade feels odd, it deals no explosion damage like the other one does, but seems to leave a larger pool of fire for a little longer?
The buffs to the One Two do help, but the low ergo means it only feels usable with the ergo boosting armor, which limits your options.
Grinded out the SC to get the new warbond, I think the armor looks really cool, big fan of the tanker helmets with the microphones/headsets on them. The assault rifle so far looks cool, but it's boring. I really wish the masterkey was just an attachment for all of the assault rifles (or at least the ones that make sense) and also the base firemode was just burst. Gun should've came with an extended mag too since it has the space for it.
Other than that though there seems to be another community war brewing that brings the competence of Arrowhead into question, don't think it's been brought up in the thread either.
Recently there's been somewhat of a breakthrough in HD2 modding that allows you to put scripts and other gameplay altering type things into your mods, this has brought in a new wave of Chiggers spamming overpowered weapon mods like making the Stalwart into medium armor penetration, people making custom HUDs, and the thing that is at the center of the growing drama, a guy making QOL mods with AI that fixes stratagem bounce, Hellpod control, and adds some other small but good features. According to the QOL mod maker, CowboyBingus, his mods are technically legal and has a direct line to the Nexus Mods community staff in case his shit gets taken down from that front.
Since script mods are a new thing to Helldivers modding, people are getting kind of upset about how these can be considered "cheats," which granted some of them are straight up cheats. But specifically the Bingus QOL Vanilla Plus mods have been getting somewhat "promoted" by some Helldivers YouTubers on Twitter like OhDough and ThiccFilA.
(1, 2)
As you can see they're coming from the Bethesda angle of things where the playerbase have tasked themselves with fixing the game, which in the process is pissing a lot of glazedivers off and making them call it all cheats and say they're bad at the game.
It's really funny how most of the people who get angry at this have their entire social media presence revolve around Helldivers, you can really tell that they're hurt by Arrowhead getting fucked on by some autist with Grok or whatever.
I also want to point out with the Hellpod and Statagem Bounce mods is that they've been listed as issues for fucking years but Arrowhead refuse to do anything about it.
One viewpoint on this whole situation that kind of has some kind of grounding to it is that these mods can possibly put modders in Arrowhead's crosshairs, potentially doing something about modding. I say this kind of has grounding because I don't even think that Arrowhead has the ability to really ban people who hack or mod in their game and they'd be officially shooting themselves in the foot if they blanket ban mods. Because of the release of these new script mods, the Helldivers Modding Community released this announcement about how scripts have the ability of giving your machine malware... But no mods so far have done so. Putting on my tin foil hat for a moment, this announcement feels like some kind of defensive strike against these mods to instill some kind of fear to keep people from discussing and installing them, not only because of Arrowhead potentially being cunts in the future, but because most of these mods are made using AI, and I don't think I need to say why that might be an issue.
Also while writing this appended edit to add more information someone on RPG HQ has made an unlock all mod that uses the Bingus Mod Loader (doesn't save progress). Lol, lmao even.
The thing that makes me laugh is that most of this stuff just flat out isn't new. Ching chong hackers and leakers have been able to alter the game to fix strat bounce or add in missing features/vehicles for years at this point (shit just look at all the cultist gameplay).
All that's changed is that it's been made easy to use for the average joe schmoe via a mod loader now.
AH flat out doesn't have a way to ban people atm, as the way they planned for it to be implemented was via the PSN account shit, but now that that's gone you can't even report someone. Every single option in the "Report" menu does nothing, so until they replace GameGuard with something else there's literally nothing they can do to stop this (short of completely banning all mods, which would be a nuclear bomb to their reputation).
To me, the ideal solution is to just copy DRG. Add official mod support and then have Modded and Unmodded sessions that people can choose weather or not they want to join.

Space Marine 2 limits modded sessions to other modded sessions, even Payday 3 has shit like this where your potential matchmaking is limited and people have to enable the modded lobbies filter to find 'em. I would prefer not to have this though since it would really limit the already fucked up matchmaking of Helldivers. I'd rather just have lobbies/hosts be tagged as modded and the quick join just filter out the sessions instead of delegating people who play with mods to one tiny player pool.

What I don't get is why people would actually trust someone else with an injectable mod via dll that you didn't build (and yes, you can with any of the LLM agents on a whim, big whoop). That's the thing though, you'd never know what that dll is doing unless you RE it and prove it's only modifying those appropriate called functions- which begs the question if the stratagem one is such an easy fix, what is it doing to actually get that to be "fixed"? Assuming we're talking about the game being client side then sure- but of course you always run the risk of being banned. They know what your doing- nprotect isn't going to stop you, you'll just get banned.
Guess these people are new to MMO's and nprotect? Do they think it flew back in 2008 with maplestory where nexon said "yeah go ahead and do dll injections because everything happens client side"?
Scrap that, it's a patch file. That has obfuscated lua.
