It was good. They tried to be more ambitious with the animation, but it's still a bit stilted.
Loved Stolas(?) here. It got some chuckles from me.
 
Overall, pretty good possibly even great. The animation is smoother in parts, but still a little too choppy in other areas. Specifically the action, which I will give credit there is a lot of in this episode. High point was definitely the dream sequence. From stellar design to really smooth animation to it even having some really great character stuff.

Definitely one of the better episodes overall, hell it might even be the best one yet. That should be expected though since it took extra time to come out. That's not a bad thing by the way, I would prefer far more episodes of this quality even with the extra time it takes than some of the past episodes where it was clear there was some cut corners to meet a tighter release date.

Also definitely a good episode, very fun animation, though as others have noted it still had the same kind of choppiness and stiffness in some parts that the rest of the show has had. The acid trip/song sequence was enjoyable, as was Stolas' appearance. Just like in Hazbin Hotel when Alastor does his "If I wanted to hurt anyone here I would've done so already" and the screen goes crazy and all that, it's the crazy visuals and art that I really love about this show the most. I like when they're really going all out with that kind of thing.
 
The shippers are going crazy over the kiss scene at the end and I'm like... So? They've done far more than kiss in past eps we just didn't see cause.. ya know YouTube and all.

I’m assuming people can use it to prove that Blitz does care about Stolas in some capacity, rather than just using him for the book.
 
Utterly terrifying and inhuman demons hiding behind the guise of regal dignified nobels is always a great aspect when done right.
 
I really enjoyed it, noticed that towards the end of the Moxxie song you started to see some of the original animation sketches bleeding through but the choppiness was nowhere near as distracting as last time which was nice. Loved the Stolas forms and the way that was animated and clearly a leadup to hell becoming compromised due to the gangs actions and Stolas probably paying the price for it. (but who is the one who punishes heaven/hell/earth breaches?)
I am all for a slower release for better quality animation I know that I am chomping at the bit for the next release every fucking time but even then if they could smooth out some of the animating flaws I would love it unless the plan is down the road to do a possible redux version with animation cleanup once the series is done which I wouldn't mind.

I wonder if that’s actually how he takes it or if he was just saying it to be irritating. Blitz did compliment how much of a douche he sounded like. They were trying to infuriate the agents right before they got gassed.
