Actually Invincible somehow managed to make hell even lamer which is actually kinda impressive, especially since the show went out of its way to retcon basically all the previous interesting implications about hell and the characters related to it for no reason.
Is it just an alien planet or something like this is Dungeons and Dragons Fourth Edition?

Do you now understand why it's so hard for me to sympathize with Stolas at this point?
Yes, and I even see why stella simps have a bit of a point....or why they simp for her.

It's the male nature of a desire to be everything she wants and everything stoals failed to be. The "knight in armor for the queen" so to speak or the sir lancelot to Stella's part of Queen Guinevere. Only in this version king Authur is a bumbling imbecile and a flaming homo. And we don't feel bad for him for losing the queen, we're glad he did because he didn't deserve or even want her.

It's a bunch of dudes from a previous age of Earth living underground. A lot of stuff Darkblood (the demon detective from season 1) said either no longer make much sense or is way lamer now, and Satan's a pathetic bitch who talks about how he and the demons are ackshually "keeping Earth safe from all the horrible threats that live further down" but gets his ass kicked by something Mark one shots after receiving a mystical artifact that restores his full power.. I genuinely don't think anything those losers could keep contained would be a threat given the level of superheroes present on the surface even with Mark himself off planet.

Also, Hell isn't an afterlife and there's no Heaven, "you've got to make Heaven here on Earth" mannnnnnnn.

Apparently this was based on a planned Hell plotline in the original comic that the editor at the time wisely told Kirkman to cut for being both a distraction from the main plot and not being anywhere close to interesting enough to justify that distraction.

It's straight up not regular hell, it's just some ancient society at the center of the Earth.
That's how fictional Hell normally works. They're just deformed cavemen who may or may not be extremely sadistic. You have already taken whole legal departments worth of artistic license if your fictional demon can normally participate in a scene. Your complaints are completely a matter of execution, not setting. It's not the fact that it isn't the theological, even poetic Hell, it's the fact they're apparently losers.

C.S. Lewis's demons were charming, intelligent and articulate. They were also extremely sadistic but usually hid it well.

He hit on both of them actually.

Seriously tell me you don't find this creepy as fuck.

I also thought that those quotes were suspicious (and they definitely prove that Gryphon is stupid), but I just wanted to point out that as far as my very surface level knowledge goes the people that actually were around Gryphon (including the MLP crew, the supposed victims and their friends) defended him and insisted that he rarely was around his future wife when she was a teenager and that she didn't see him for a longer period of time until she turned 20 and started messaging him.

Given how much of that is true can be called into question but I don't think it is something that can be completly ignored either.

On the other hand I heard that Claire's parents disapproved the marriage which sounds more suspicious again.

Also yeah maybe I should have said that better but I just thought that posting the ducktape picture even the first time after I already uploaded the picture of a post that specificially talked about it was a bit redundant for that conversation.

In the end my problem is that it is really hard to tell what actually went down since there is a lot of contradictionary information and I usually reserve a definitive judgment until I have a clear picture.

It's funny that even literal redditors complained about it being stupid and that even the random ass speculations they posted about it earlier were miles better then what we actually got.

Also yeah season 1 still treated hell as some horrible realm of torture that even the most powerful supervillains will eventually be cast into when they die, but that sounds actually cool so instead they just retconned basically anything and everyone related to it.

Sup folks, been a hot minute since I don't visit this thread.

So, I heard about the April's Fools short of the twins and such. Was it a joke that was dead on arrival? Did they include Mr. Ni- I mean, Wigglers? From the looks of it, doesn't look like it.

How does someone who post shit like that doesn't get investigated by the family? (I am aware Michelle Creber cut her ties or something like that). I mean, I heard the dude had some drama recently. Back in 2014, everyone thought this was all "haha, funny" - apparently.

LMAO, how the fuck is Trannylastor even a thing at this point.

Right, at the time, he was mostly hanging around with Michelle Creber. The pictures from then were nowhere near as creepy but it was still weird. It was just odd and sus that a dude in his 20s was doing duos all the time with a teenager.

Gave off real Jerry Lee Lewis vibes.

They appear to have tolerated it, at least not publicly disapproved of it, but then after the marriage he apparently isolated her from family, a usual sign of an abuser.

Wait, was he mentioned on this thread before the shooting?

Unless the parents were also weird control freaks themselves or something like that.

So, did I miss anything interesting in this thread or were we just circling stuff around until S3 trailer pops up?
