We are through third of the whole series runtime(Viv said she wants 6 seasons), and we haven't had a SINGLE episode dedicated to past of characters like Husk, Angel, or even our retarded main protagonist, but we HAD to see the faggot drama between Vox and Alastor(because it couldn't be just a plain power hungry rivalry), or we HAD to see Jeffrey Valentino Epstein whine like a bitch because "uwu, Vox folgot about mee0(((" 6 or 8 different directirs just to create lamest wattpad faggot fanfiction, with MLP ending with a rapist by the end.

Too many cooks, as the saying goes. The fact that Amazon had Viv cut out one thing from the 2nd season shows that she has mostly full control of the show and no one is pulling her back. Yeah, it probably does suck a lot that instead of 20 episodes a season you only get 8. But that doesn't mean you should cram in 20 episodes worth of shit into those 8 episodes. Especially if it's a one off thing that is never going to be brought up again. And yes, I'm talking about Mimzy. She's just brought in to play a role in one episode and then immediately forgotten about for the rest of the show. Expect for a brief 3 second cameo in Alastor's backstory where it doesn't really matter if you knew who she was in the first place.

And even the most devoted of fans are worried about just adding more characters into this very bloated cast. Saw someone saying that although they would love to see Crymini (a character who was part of the main cast during the pilot productuon) in the actual show, they know it would be a terrible idea.

It's actually worse than that, since Viv has said she's planning for only 5 seasons lately, not 6 which was something she was more on after S1 aired. Now if Viv didn't love to spoil basically every plot point that's going to happen well over a year before the season, I would assume Husk would be delved into more here, since Alastor is going to be an antagonist so it would be a good excuse to dive into Husk's past, but we know how bloated S3 is already looking and Husk hasn't been mentioned doing anything, most he's going to do is help inevitably break Angel's contract.

On that thought Husk really is the average female Viv character isn't he? The only times the only times it's not trivial to just write him out of the show entirely is when the plot is directly tied to his love interest, even Niffty whose almost only used as a comedic relief character has had more plot agency than him.

It's a bit of a shame that we never got Crymini since Husk and her were supposed to form a kind of father/daughter relationship with each other. Especially since he would be the oldest one to have died (in his 70s) while she would have been the youngest (18). And both had a cynical point of view in life. Maybe I just a sucker for that kind of trope though.

But yeah. All Husk really is used for is being the "wise" bartender that tells the problems of each character because we don't have time to actually see it. And being shipping fuel for Angel. And I will never not find it funny that Keith David just sees a platonic relationship between the two.

I did met a fujoshi.
She looked a lot like post-trooning chris, smelled like lung cancer and she would often say "If i was a man, i would be gay" with 0 irony and 0 self-awareness.
Was even invited to her house once or twice, to this day, I still have no idea if she had taped on the walls more pages taken from yaoi comics or photos of wolves taken from magazines.

And that one was an italian who lived in the middle of nowhere, her friends were autistic weirdos, but none was like her, she never learnt english, so her use of the internet was limited to Skype and WoW and despite her obsession with wolves, she know nothing about what a furry was, or rather used to, until I explained them to her (something I deeply regret, but needed to do as a way to distract her in order to run away safely).

But considering shes a NYC/LA girl, places where some of the most glamourous people in the country live? I call doubt, even back when she was young and skinny she seemed wayy too dorky to be a tube top wearing party girl getting accosted by frat bros, maybe some construction workers though?
