sera is a good character. I actually thought the whole thing with her making a mistake as such a high being was quite good. It is one of the things I intend to use quite extensively in my own world building. Not to mention she now has to learn how to redeem herself in a way. I personally think Sera is one of the deeper characters in the show. She has a lot more depth than a lot of the demons who can essentially be boiled down to lunatics with a murder fetish looking for power.

i wonder if emily will get development like this. She is my favorite character but she needs a little depth to spice her up. unless she is meant to be just pure happiness i guess

Pffft...Serious? Ya having a laugh? Hazbin doesn't treat it's worldbuilding seriously, it barely has worldbuilding to begin with. All it is just going with what fans yammer on about, without any rhyme or reason. Least TADC had the balls to say "Fuck your fan theoris, they are wrong"
Counter point, I think it's not disrespectful to tell your audience that their fan theories are wrong and all of their predictions aren't gonna go how they wanna. That's the biggest issue with Hazbin, Boss and even something like FNAF. They try to appeal SO hardcore to their fans and how "they totally guessed it and they are right for firguring this out" that it becomes just a mess where fans dictate how a show is supposed to go, so their fan theories feel validated. Combined with, it shows that the original creator never had any actual ideas or plans for their property, it's just all about what the fans want

The constraint of time was never the issue for Viv's stories. With Helluva Boss, she has control of the amount of episodes and how long the run-time is for each one. And we know how much of a mess that is. If Hazbin was given the same treatment, I doubt it would be that different.
At the end of it all, it's not the amount of time that's the problem; it's what the time is used for.
