Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

Wait, was Vox's death not a reference to the ending of the movie "Grosse Pointe Blank", where John Cusack's character smashes a big 90's CRT TV over the head of Dan Aykroyd's character (who immediately dies from a combination of blunt force trauma/the tv dramatically electrocuting him)?
More likely just a visual reference taken from the movie adaptation of High Rise, which starred known "Tumblr sexy man" Tom Hiddleston.

That movie about a bunch of degenerate communists who are too retarded to leave their apartment to purchase groceries, so they all turn to cannibalism?
this sentence is so intentionally obtuse that it's summoned the angry ghost of JG Ballard to throw rocks glasses at you while screaming incoherently about his mind's theoretical plane or some shit

Not sure if this has been posted here before, but I found this skitzo Q-anon-style proof/powerpoint on Tumblr about how Alastor being asexual is no reason to ruin Alastor ships:

:story:

I'm still surprised Alastor has so many popular het ships/Tumblrista fangirls in love with him; he's, like, the twinkiest twink character to ever twink.

I think it was meant to be mass consensus. Vox was already brainwashing the entire population so Charlie's statement being broadcast just supercharged it. Her position as princess does understandably seem to carry a lot of weight in S1, it's only undermined in public opinion through Vox's own media control in S2, so it does kinda make sense.
I get that, and you aren't wrong. My point was that prior to this in S1 it was established that overlords = owning souls, and that their primary concern is 1. getting more souls, and 2. protecting the souls they own from extermination.

And then S2 just totally disregards all of that and makes Alastor most powerful because he made a deal with his own soul, and then Charlie is able to just speak and transfer power between overlords, apparently. It is just inconsistent and that annoys me; they could have very easily just had the plot point be that Vox signed a huge number of souls for his "army" after proving himself by capturing Alastor, and that is why he overtakes him as "most powerful". It would have fit Alastor's plan perfectly while also not requiring him to cash in his "favor" with Charlie.
What ring would cia agents go in
Canon answer: all human souls go to Pride, period.

Funny answer: which ever one glows the most. So probably Gluttony.

Charlie's dumb, I'm sure Alastor will have another convenient opportunity to get a new favor. Heck, Lucifer is dumb too - maybe he'll earn a Lucifer favor next time.

I think you're reading stuff into it. Alastor presumably didn't know what an overlord was when he made the deal. So the deal isn't specifically linked to however being an overlord works, and the contract breaking was just typical demon contract technicality stuff. We don't know exactly how Rosie facilitated the deal, and it's more likely that Charlie simply boosted Vox's signal enough to make him inarguably the strongest rather than her doing anything magical. We have no reason to think she did anything special.
It's not even inconsistent with the souls = overlord thing, if you want to focus on that, if it works off the common premise that supernatural beings get their power from faith/belief/fear/whatever that shows up in lots of series. i.e, you get your power from the spiritual mojo of others directed at you, and owning souls lets you monopolise that. It's not explicitly established in the show but it's such a conventional mechanic that I didn't blink when it happened.

It'd honestly be weird if hell was deliberately, divinely set up with a power ranking system like that. I think it's more likely that overlords are something the sinners have established themselves since Lucifer doesn't really give enough of a shit to stop them doing that kind of bullshit.

I think that's just a Vox-specific thing. He feeds off of people's admiration and trust, so when Charlie, the princess of hell, publicly declares that he's the most powerful sinner in hell, the people of hell make it true by feeding into his ego and power-boosting him.

Based vivziepop making the villian of the season a gay man obsessively harassing his non-gay crush who is disgusted with him

Also we all know its just because of her fetish but it is pretty ballsy making valentino such a fun and normal (having relationships, scenes etc completely unrelated to being an evil rapist) character considering her fans, like yes something actually edgy in this show set in hell hallelujah

Angel Dust has definitely been the biggest disappointment so far since he was the fan-favourite in the pilot. Alastor and charlie lost a lot of their charm, but Angel Dust is such a nothing character they seemingly have no idea what to do with at this point. Nothing about this mf is interesting, and the campy slut thing gets tired quick when you have other characters doing the same thing (and better/while being more rounded). Ig s3 will focus on him, but how much of it will be exposition thats already been known for like 6+ year atp from streams, comics, etc and how much will be boring shipping fuel?

Small correction, apparently Vox is Bisexual and Valentino is Pansexual but we all know Viv, she just defaults to make them date a man, I feel if any of your characters are apart of the alphabet mafia that deals with liking both genders, there should be a even ratio of your past relationships to tell you hey this is what this sexuality means we don't need a bajillion faggot kikes.

Pansexual is just bisexual but “I wanna be special”. Closest explanation I’ve heard for its existence is “bisexuality excludes trannies, hearts not parts :heart-full:“, which just sounds so stupid.

In my opinion, with how Vox acted in Season Two, I'd think he's a traditional atheist white cis male. With severe NPD at the very best. Old Fashioned just to piss Vivienne off, and into traditional women. People as you'd expect is spazzing out about Vox's racism towards Carmilla but the 1950s had people like that, like they do now, Critics are sperging about something they wanted for ages, like they begged Viv to "MUH HISTORICAL ACCURACIES MUH! WHY IS EVERYTHING NOT ACCURATE!!111!!!" besides the shitty hitler hitler halucast beam struggle like in DBZ at the end and the all that ends well ends swell ending (ignoring the fact Angel Dust fucked off.)

I will say, that Vox is more likable, it feels like he's the only character this season that hasn't had any lobotomy or his behavior wasn't nerfed to hell (no pun intended) and back like Charlie's was, it feels almost disturbing how childish Charlie views the world. Yes, I know. Disney Princess' but even Rapunzel wasn't this naive and childish, she literally hit Flynn with a pan when he broke and entered in the Tower. In fact I can sit here and tell you most of the Princess' Viv claims Charlie represents are very tough and can fight (If we're talking about Modern Day and not 2D animation like Snow White or Sleeping Beauty.)

I am sorry for sperging but that's just my pejorative whatever Viv does is not enough and the Critics push her to stop being safe edgy but the moment she steps out of line with retarded and or a offensive stereotype people sperg to hell and back, they find reasons to be mad either saying it's "offensive" (no shit dipshit.) or just said it was unfunny, perhaps she is correct in her assessment that people banking off others opinions are a red flag but I won't listen to hers as she's extremely biased. She's a shitty person who reached Lolcow status years ago, but some people act like she personally genocides people over for the most unemployed shit.

You can acknowledge two things at once and not be a total tard about it. But no, leave it to critics who want to enjoy a show without violence, and movies and sex on TV, I don't like what they've done in regards to narration but the little they DID do trying to appease the historical fags is never enough, here's a suggestion stop expecting shit from her. Consumerism is aids for critics who constantly sperg about shit they claim to hate but get paid for them acting autistic online, which Mr. Enter has done for years, I wonder if he's reviewed Hazbin.

Not calling him great but that might turn out to be a plot point since it's a noted mystery, the angels don't know either, and it might turn out to be all about self-forgiveness or something since Adam sure didn't think Adam was an asshole.
From what we can figure about Sir Pentious and him getting into Heaven, it's what you do on Earth is what gets you sent to Hell or Heaven. And what you do in those realms don't affect you in leaving. So Adam could have been a good person while alive, got sent to Heaven, and became what he is today after thousands of years of being in Heaven.

At least that's what I'm hoping they're going to show if we get flashbacks of him on Earth. If he is the same person back then as he is right now, I won't be surprised; just annoyed.
