No, Viv confirmed S3's motif will be purple (Lilith) as well as green, S4's will be gold (Lute), additionally she also said Alastor would be a villain for S3 (without outright saying it's Alastor but she's still crystal clear about who she's talking about).

Personally I think it's too early for Alastor to be a villain, especially if the show ends up being 6 seasons instead of 5 (Viv's flipflopped on that) and would have preferred him be the penultimate antagonist before the stupid root of all evil shit takes center stage.

When I first saw Alastor I immediately thought the show's final arc would be his redemption, but I hadn't yet grasped how shit-tier the writing would be.

It honestly feels like the Hazbin pilot and Helluva Season 1 were the Universes high points. What the hell happened?
Viv realized that the sad gay owl show sells better and satisfies her inner fujo lust.

Not that I totally hate later HB - Verosika seriously grew on me and the songs are good.

Like she's an abrasive and demented fujo and I feel like her shows have some of the wildest swings in writing quality imaginable, but you can't deny she worked her ass off to get to where she is now.
And lets not forget all the people she screwed over to get where she is today. But that seems to be industry standard, so I guess she fits right in.

I guess it might be the case that Viv wants to spend the final 2 (3?) seasons on Alastor's redemption, though I would prefer that Alastor is the man that forces Charlie to realize some sinners absolutely can't be redeemed.

The obvious problem with Lute being the main villain for a season or two is that Lute is, in TvTropes terminology, a No-Nonsense Nemesis. All she wants to do is kill and she'll go buck wild the moment the opportunity presents itself. It'll take some serious character rewriting to have her chill out and become a Machiavellian schemer for any length of time.

My guess is (and this is based on the last episode of season 2) is that she realizes that Abel is enough like his dad deep down to be pushed towards being more Adam-like and she can potentially manipulate him in pursuit of her vengeance. His VA is too big ticket for the bit role he's current playing in the story.

...So we have to wait HALF of the whole show's run before Lute does anything useful, even though she promised revenge at the very start of season 2???

Shower thoughts: if vaggie is a fallen angel just like lucifer, does that mean she can't harm sinners too? And it is why she has an angelic weapon with her? Can Lucifer use angelic weapons to harm sinners instead?

If lucifer can't harm sinners, why they haven't kill him already? It's the closest conclusion to not have another deadly angelic beam weapon powered by his fallen-angel-that-cant-hurt-sinners-ass.
Why are angels casually go in hell without protection like body guards and such? Emily would had dozens of attempted murders, but she just got her wings cut off by the lucifer's beam.

The problem is, Alastor's entire plan hinges on the fact that, Vox will be prideful enough to touch Charlie at some point, while also having Charlie in a position where she has to admit that Vox is the strongest sinner.

I ve thought about this and it track, thats he set vox up with "hands on her" bullshit.

But the favor from charlie was set up in season one and he even sang in season one about figuring out how to unclip his wings

I can see his roise contract escape just being him taking an opportunity rather some 4D chess plan.

Also, for all its flaws Vivian has created something and were talking about it. I see alot flaws with pacing and I d rather have tighter arces with the characters.

But fuck Its not like people can just make their own cartoons

I hate the people saying "he beat the fraud allegations".

No, his plan is as contrivance as Vox's is.

THIS can go wrong multiple different ways, for all you know, Vox could have:
-Ignore Charlie and move on to his plan.
-Ignore and Gag Alastor (like he did in previous episodes)
-Mind control him like he did to Angel Dust (tho they never explain why he can't mind control Alastor or why would he be immune to it)
-Kill Alastor

The best plans are that have the least amount of steps that can fuck up.
They are so high on their farts that they're making Alastor out like he's Rick Sanchez. What's next, unironically saying you need a very high IQ to understand Hazbin (and Helluva)?

After watching the ending ( how the fuck does death work... is the cannon angelic metal? Is it all angelic power?). I think lute is gonna be turned good by abel manning up and fucking the hate out of her. Call it character growth.

I really don't get what makes alastor so powerful... he honestly seems to have less going for him then half the overlords. Though I also dont get what makes an overlord anymore... I thought it was deals and owning people's souls. Now it seems to work via popularity?

That's just a weird plot point honestly. The show wants you the believe that no Sinner ever questioned Lucifer or wanted his place before Vox? There was never a power hungry person or some religious nuts person that wanted to take over Hell since the extistence of mankind in that universe? It's also weird that no Overlord seems to be a person that actually held some form of political power in Hazbin. The most powerful sinner is unironically some murder hobo and not someone who actually managed to manipulate his way to the top of a country and kills thousand of innocents, started wars for his own ego or some other evil shit. You know someone that actually embodies the worst of humanity?

All of that would've been solved if he just had some powerful demons who kill every threat for him, but then Vox would've been dead at the moment he mocked Lucifer or Charlie.

The only saving grace about this plan is that He just had to passively wait to happen. And would have been compatible with more proactive ones.

Yeah, I don't get the jealousy bit. It's not like she had an Amazon contract plopped into her lap. She did grunt work in the industry for a few years, managed to convince people to buy enough merch of her gay demon musical show to crowdfund a pilot, and then did a merch/patreon-funded web series for years before Amazon scooped her up.

Like she's an abrasive and demented fujo and I feel like her shows have some of the wildest swings in writing quality imaginable, but you can't deny she worked her ass off to get to where she is now.
But you also cannot deny that Viv probably got help from her affluent parents to get her foot in the door and have the likes of Norman Reedus and John Waters to appear not in the Amazon show of her first pilot but the YouTube spin-off show. This isn't a rags to riches story (like how Taylor Swift was initially presented), it's a rich parents help their rich offspring get richer story (like the truth about Taylor Swift).

If I'm coming off as bitter, it's because sitting through the S2 finale has been a real chore. I have already paused it twice, since I have somewhat of a life, and will give my full thoughts when I finish it.

Because you're bitter.

Resources are resources are resources.Everyone would use their family connections to make their dreams come true if said connections were useful. Viv has flaws, but that's not one of them.Rags-to-riches are few and far between these days. Don't fixate on her family ties. Jealousy is never a good look.
