They tried with Ghostfuckers but even then they still made her secondary to Blitzo having an emotional breakdown lol. Even her backstory reveal is done just to cheer up Blitzo and make him look cool. One of the dumbest moments of the series, imo.

I wonder if a spin off about the lives of the sinners before up to where die would be good
I don't know about a whole spinoff based on that but several of the HB shorts that have been posted after S2 touch on it.

Advertisers will bitch about controversial topics and naughty words from streamers and content creators but will buy out Time Square to advertise a show with excessive swearing, sexual content, and more.
Off topic but some billboard operators don't give a fuck and will sell ad space to the KKK if they ask, probably not in New York but I've seen some crazy billboards in MAGA country.

I hate the people saying "he beat the fraud allegations".

No, his plan is as contrivance as Vox's is.

The problem is, Alastor's entire plan hinges on the fact that, Vox will be prideful enough to touch Charlie at some point, while also having Charlie in a position where she has to admit that Vox is the strongest sinner.

THIS can go wrong multiple different ways, for all you know, Vox could have:
-Ignore Charlie and move on to his plan.
-Ignore and Gag Alastor (like he did in previous episodes)
-Mind control him like he did to Angel Dust (tho they never explain why he can't mind control Alastor or why would he be immune to it)
-Kill Alastor

The best plans are that have the least amount of steps that can fuck up.

The sad fact that this show has better action than One Frame Man Season 3
Don't forget Blue Frame, or Frame lock.

i finally got around to watching the last 2 episodes. I thoroughly enjoyed them. I dont know what exactly the magic friendship beams are or how they work lore wise but im not here to logic my through a show about musical redeemable demons.

alastor being free and now making a deal with rosie wasnt something i expected. I kind of expected him to stay locked down for a while. I am very happy to see this because I want to see pilot alastor return. Not this literal cuck ass bitch he was turned into for season 2. Vox literally made him sit in the cuck chair and watch him fuck val.

Val becoming the head of voxtek also wasnt expected. I more expected val to be leaning towards redemption. But I guess he saw vox getting btfo as an opportunity for a power grab.

Vox and Alastor have way too similar backstories. I guess it makes some sense since they both exist in the media sphere but i feel like they made them too similar.

overall I was very pleased with season 2. Season 1 wasnt all that imo and while i liked it i wasnt that into it. This season had me by the balls demanding my attention for the entire thing.

if anyone is interested i posted a bunch of 400x400 gifs on my profile. Some better than others. I also made some that are for the 1280x300 banner size. Maybe i will download the full season and go hunting for more potential gif material.

I saw people complaining on Twitter about "RAPIST VAL REDEMPTION" but then I watched the ending and it was just Val stepping in to save his own skin. Zero redemption, completely in-character.

I swear this is the only show I've seen that has insane a-logs in equal measure to insane fans.

Like many cows, Vivziepop is something of an autism vortex, so will draw in both fans and detractors alike that are equally cowish as well.

I feel like Viv is almost the DSP of the animation world. She's not quite as outright incompetent as Phil, but she has frequent missteps and setbacks that always somehow culminate in her coming out ahead as her detractors incoherently seethe about some autistic detail that no one else cares about.

Viv certainly has come out ahead, she's an indie animation success story.

Too bad she stepped over a bunch of people and let the storytelling go to shit to get there...

Moloch demands his pound of flesh and despair. At least she hasn't fucked kids (that we know of).

Yeah critiques of Vivzie are either rational or autistic a-logging especially by artists who feel slighted from envy (not that I believe in the jealousy argument but it's just there are legitimately some artists who bitch about Vivzie who wished they had an Amazon show)

Yeah, I don't get the jealousy bit. It's not like she had an Amazon contract plopped into her lap. She did grunt work in the industry for a few years, managed to convince people to buy enough merch of her gay demon musical show to crowdfund a pilot, and then did a merch/patreon-funded web series for years before Amazon scooped her up.

Like she's an abrasive and demented fujo and I feel like her shows have some of the wildest swings in writing quality imaginable, but you can't deny she worked her ass off to get to where she is now.

In Viv language, she confirms that at least half season three is going to be Husk x Angel.
Oh good, I was actually going to give Season 3 a chance other than clips and shit, yet with these two faggots it seems it will be just clips.
Also, in honor of it being confirmed Alastor will take the villain role for S3, Viv confirming Vox's story "is not over yet", it focusing on Angel Dust plus his family, and how everything she's confirmed about S3 besides Lilith finally showing up mainly concerns a male character, I will once again post this.
Won't that be in S4, with the "Green" motif?
At last, his time has come!

Classic!
Total Alastroon Humiliation, I like this.

Vivzie is so shit at writing women and lesbian relationships considering she herself (was?) is bisexual. Charlie and Vaggie have such a boring dynamic, zero chemistry beyond Vaggie tardwrangling Charlie out of another panic attack every episode. I'm guessing they were her attempt at proving she can write something non-male centric but it proved the exact opposite. Charlie is less of a character and more of plot device for the hotel to exist at all.

I'm seeing a lot of similarities between this show and Steven Universe. A lot of anticlimatic arcs, squandered characters and solving everything through the "power of friendship". Vivienne must've taken some notes from Rebecca Sugar.

edit: Also justice for my nigga Vox. Since they didn't have the balls to kill him off they better do something entertaining with him next season and not keep him as some cucked decapitated head in the corner.

well they shit on "the power of friendship" earlier and then the actual friendship beam thing was just a structural contrivance to wrap shit up with a song. Like the cannon exploding wasn't actually a problem until that moment; plot-wise everything else was already resolved thoroughly (to the point of even the big transmission that drove the episode ending up redundant), including the gun in the sense that weapons lady had joined already (and they might as well have unplugged it then: she would have known how to do that, which is why vagina asked her to help earlier).

So it was about as real to the story as any of the other magical set dressing that appears whenever everyone randomly breaks into song in a musical. Characters even explicitly agree to pretend it never happened afterwards.
Which is all very clunky from a writing perspective but not a meaningful example of deus ex friendship bullshit, really.

So whatever.

Maybe when you die in Hell (or if you're a Heavenly citizen killed by angel weapons) you wind up in a dreary California convention center town with a lighthouse calling you to the Inn at the Oaks, and you're back in your shlubby human body. But somehow even shlubbier now.

No, Viv confirmed S3's motif will be purple (Lilith) as well as green, S4's will be gold (Lute), additionally she also said Alastor would be a villain for S3 (without outright saying it's Alastor but she's still crystal clear about who she's talking about).

Personally I think it's too early for Alastor to be a villain, especially if the show ends up being 6 seasons instead of 5 (Viv's flipflopped on that) and would have preferred him be the penultimate antagonist before the stupid root of all evil shit takes center stage.

Ah, my mistake. Just to be sure, the "purple" and "green" means Rosie and Alastor, right? We will think it will be Eve/Lilith bit it may be revealed to be Rosie and Alastor?
Maybe this may be a good season if Viviane plays her cards right. I would like to see Alastor being an antagonist and finally get his ass kicked.

TLDW: First season is pretty solid, mostly episodic hijinks of an assassination company that has some decent scenes of drama, a good part of that drama revolves around the company boss who has regular casual sex with a royal in exchange for a magical item that allows the whole business to function, but that plot point wasn't the main focus and was pretty tolerable on its own all things considered. The second season does away almost entirely with those episodic hijinks and almost all the focus is given to those two's relationship, which has now been retconned into being childhood friends and now legitimately love each other, the royal is also suddenly changed into a sad gay boi who can do no wrong, turning the show into glorified yaoi fanfiction.
It honestly feels like the Hazbin pilot and Helluva Season 1 were the Universes high points. What the hell happened?
