Nothing better emphasis the death of the original premise than the "joke" of Charlie not knowing who rooster demon, that remained at the hotel, was.
 
Wouldn't it have been more rewarding and less cheesy if instead of everyone care-bear power of friendship destroying the weapon it was Abel growing a spine, sending Lute home and destroying the weapon himself to save everyone?

He's the most powerful person there remember? He's an arch-angel in place of his dad so creating a bubble force field around the blast should be well within his abilities.

Everyone likes him more than the main character and finds his motivations more interesting the redemption plotline. For the last two weeks it has been nothing but alternative universe endings and fan animations of Vox, and they cooked up all these different ideas that were better than what was delivered.

The voice actor alone carried the entire season. The marketing gave the Vees more push than the hotel. This fucking nigger got more songs than anybody else. Even when Vox spergs out and obsesses over Alastor, looking like an A-log, he was still winning anyway. He walked Lucifer in a jar.

I've never seen an antagonist hyped up this much to where the writers put themselves in a corner and have to rush his downfall through friendship magic.

Could go on about how the fans all agree the ending was anticlimactic and should have ended with Heaven getting it's gate broken as like a step one to a greater invasion plan for season three. People really wanted to see if the fucker could confront God.

Vox deserved to get everything he wanted and blow up Hell and Heaven. Would've been interesting to see how the writers solved that problem, but they wanted to stay in their comfort zone. I guess keeping the status quo sells more acrylic standees.
 
I mean in terms of the setting/characters what has actually changed from the start of S2 to the end of S2?

Angel is gaped and raped again, Alastor is free and... people know Pentious is alive, I guess? Beyond that basically nothing has changed. Heaven and Hell are in the exact same spot as before and most of the cast are the exact same.

Wouldn't it be an interesting idea to send him to Limbo? I mean, set it up as a place that only select few know, Sera specifically and this being her "power". Yet she is very reluctant of using it for there are consequences of doing so (drains her life, IDK, makes Hell straight). Only difference is that she appears more often and speaks about this being a possibility that is dangerous to consider, and doesn't come as a Chekov's gun in the end.

I think the biggest difference was Abel showing up and making a move and Lucifuck being cucked even further.

The more I think about, Vox didn't anything racist in this season outside of referring to Spanish as an island language (and even that is a stretch). He never treated Velvette, who is canonically black, or Alastor, a "half-Creole," as lesser than him despite being a white man from the 1950s. Him shaking maracas in front of Carmilla was more like how libs pander to non-white European ethnic groups.

Any real world references to Trump fall apart because of how safe edgy the show is.
 
Can I just say I don't get why people are saying Alastor beat the fraud allegations when all he did this season was break a contract and fight Vox... It was a very close battle and Alastor would've died if a literal seraphim hadn't stepped in to save his life, so you can't even say that "oh Vox had help yadda yadda yadda" when Alastor would be dead without Emily's intervention, especially considering Vox and Alastor would've both gotten their asses kicked by Adam if he was still around.

I think it would have been better if Sera came down and destroyed the weapon. She would have actually done something, instead of having someone else do shit for her. She called for the exterminations, yet had other angels go down to Hell and kill Sinners. She sent Emily by herself to Hell to make peace, where a bunch of angry sinners want to murder angels. And when she sees her sister gets one of her wings blasted off, does she finally go down to Hell? Nah. Send the rage-filled vengeance exorcist and the nepo baby leader who hates conflict. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Sera is such a pathetic loser who makes dumb decisions and doesn't want to get her own hands dirty, so she sends others to do the work themselves

I think a lot of it was that thanks to the leaks, and how the one we got of E4 didn't have that scene of him pissed off and thinking up a plan, everyone thought for roughly a year that Alastor would be legitimately captured by Vox instead of it being a part of a scheme to break free.

Plus it's worth noting that he hadn't yet managed to get his staff fixed until after the battle with Vox.

speaking of soft bean i'm so fucking tired of this angel abuse arc like "no go away don't help me i'm too broken to fix" for the umpteenth time. funny how much he tanked from being likeable from the OG trailer to one of the most despised for me imo

i don't like valentino's story / aspect but i like his voice actor and non-rape personality. he had the best line this season and something about latin gay sass is funny to me.

the care bear stare shit really takes you back to reality of how absolute dogshit vivzie is at storytelling but keeps your autism fixated with the bright colors, sparkledog character designs (i really like the masked and bug heaven character species types, the voice of god could of left more to be desired imo though, i dont like her goetia designs) and pretty okay animation.

i agree abel needed more song time he jumpscared me with that fall out boy shit like damn we're just sleeping on that kinda talent? is it a ke$ha situation again where theres a bunch of hurdles to have them sing or does viv just have ptsd from that situation or something?
