Even while this season has many flaws, its miles above S1. And I don't think the future seasons will capture the same fun energy since Viv says this is a throwaway season. And it really shows. She likely let the other compentent writers take the mantle on working with what they got.
I'm going to miss Vox and his funny charisma when all this is over, I don't want to go back to romance and roo and yaoibait and alastor and lesbians and other typical Viv stuff. Vox really carried the season on his back.

Can I just say, I cannot get over Lucifer dropping literal hellfire with "I'm the serpent, I'm the flame, the mortal world is scared to say my name" only to immediately follow it up with "I'm so spooky!"
It kind of fits his character, since he doesn't seem to take things too seriously. His dialogue while sneaking behind Charlie was funny too: "You can't see me... I'm magical"

This is basically how I feel about S2 so far, letting Vox be the villain and actually showing him being a threat makes him feel so much better than antag featured in Hazbin/Helluva so far. Unlike Striker who became an incompetent dumbass, Crimson who became a pushover or Stella who suffers from a lack of depth. Getting to see Vox actually do things like manipulating the story, media slander, swaying the masses with misinformation and false narratives; actually taking Ws and making a joke out of two frauds (Alastor and Lucifer) has been fun to watch. It will make it all the more satisfying that his downfall be his ego, which feels proper for his kind of character rather than the humiliating defeats Striker faced because he became an incompetent dumbass.

He is by far the best written villain in the series and it’s not even close, Helluva Boss robbed so much screen time from Stella that they could have fleshed her out and made her more fun to watch, but they reduced her to just…whatever she is now and the focus is more on the gay melodrama. Like you said, after this season the premise will probably become so much more boring and shift back to the boring melodrama.

S2 isn’t a masterpiece by any means, but it surely better than S1 and Helluva Boss S2. Vox really does carry it, but of course it’s double edged. If you don’t care for Vox or dislike him, you’re not gonna like S2. But if you a Vox fan, you’re probably eating well.

Viv posted an unlisted video of Val drawing Vox. Features Vox arguing with Val about food and Vel being short.

I think Viv really wants to make a spin-off of the Vees.
All the leaks so far have said nobody dies this season, and Borle is confirmed to have done voice work for S3.

Regardless of how hard Vox has carried this season, I can't wait for what brain dead excuse the show gives for him to avoid being killed.
At the very least they have to confine and/or strip him of his overlord ranking and power. With all the shit that he has done and is going to do, it wouldn't make any sense to just let him get away with barely a slap on the wrist. Even if the place is Hell and there's really no rules. It would be pretty anticlimactic.

If the leaks of him actually being electricity and his body just being a vessel he pilots around are true, I could see them trapping him in an iPad or something like the Electricity Gremlin in Gremlins 2.

One thing that I have slowly come to the realization of is how much the Pride ring will (or at least should) change if Vox gets overthrown of being the media overlord. Like back in season 1, we see that this man crashing out can cause a total power outage in Pentegram city. He has control of seeminly all digital media and had made many of the technology that Sinners use. If his whole empire crumbles down, it's going to have a huge impact on many people's lives.

At this point I'm rooting for Heaven.

I want Vox and his army to show up at the Pearly Gates only for the Speaker to God come out and, like a little girl blowing a dandelion puffball, gently blowing them all back to Hell.

What else did leaks revealed?
Not much that isn't obvious, he was on /co/ and called the plot of E5 and 6 such as Lucifer being unable to harm Sinners and how he's gonna get used as a battery for Vox's weapon, but was much more vague on the next two episodes, main thing I remember is how he said Lute doesn't do anything. But using other leaks, we know that Angel leaves the hotel because he's thinks he betrayed them even though they know he was mind controlled, and that someone (probably Lilith/Eve) is going to call Charlie at the end.

Still, we got the final song names and with it the VAs in it, and unless the final song uses background characters such as Love in a bottle having Niffty's, Cherri's, and Velvette's VAs, we know who's in it, and it does include all the VAs for the Vees. (Really it basically includes everyone except Lucifer, Sera, and Angel)
