Its a crude and unelegant solution, as heavy handed as you get, but I guess its still better than nothing.
If I was to write it: I'd change a lot of stuff from the very start, but tl;dr: I'd be using the many legends of people making deals with the devil as a base and expand on it to explain the assassination:
Blitzo could have recovered devil deal contracts that contain an oversight, which ensures that if a deceased sign one of them, they'd stay legal. This would give him permission to walk in the human world undisturbed, as long as he had a way to access it (to go back to the series canon faggowl's grimoire or the faggowl's hardened cum gemstone).
I just thought about it, but yeah, it is what it is. I think your idea has a better merit - who even knows, elder "devils" relegating deals to imps? That way Stool's Ass would act like that or whatever the fuck is Angrboda, Chernobog or the name of the entity that "REAL STOLAS" is supposed to be. I forgot the name now. The goetias could fulfil this role.
Viziepop would never dare to mention the big man chris chan is currently larping as, honestly those demon could just say that they cannot survive long in the human world the same way a fish doesn't lives long outside the type water they naturally live in, with angels being the equivalent of freshwater fishes and demons saltwater fishes.
They could mention Jesus through fear, when in Hell - Blitz would be flippant for example (while fearful deep inside); Charlotte could be clueless, Vagyna would be in uncertainty now that she's a fallen angel; Goetias would be confident, but fearful if they ever see a "ray of light that would show his bright", I don't know.
As for the demons, that's a good idea. Maybe the angels could be some sort of watchers - but she would never accept that. Only if they are incompetent.
This thing is definitely going to end up being the 'secret weapon' that will somehow break Heaven's barriers.

That thing looks like a Final Fantasy enemy. What the fuck, how shit. I'm half expecting Barrett and Cloud to barge in the Voxtek to fight the Vs.

Aight. My rambling opinion. Spoilerz ahead.

I agree that this season is just season 1 again but with more production value.

Bento Box has stepped it up in the animation department. It's still janky in places but I enjoyed it. I found the colors more pleasant than in season 1.

Main cast is annoying. I fucking hate Charlie and the hotel, and I hate the Vees. I don't care about any of them.

Emily trying to make Pentious happy is cute.

The world-building doesn't make sense and is the weakest part of this story (obviously). "None of us know how this works," is a pathetic excuse for the writers to make up shit as they go. If it boils down to, "Lmao you guys are in the same metaphysical plane and make Heaven and Hell yourselves," I'm going to be annoyed.

Also I find it interesting that I'm picking up on more Biblical references. I'm getting the impression that there is a God and a Christ stand-in somewhere, which has me more interested than anything involving the actual main cast of this show. If Charlie is Jesus I'm gonna lol. It'd be like how Sugar wrote an ep of Steven Universe to imply Steven was Christ.

Season 5 of steven universe happened because rachele glucose was too busy making up shitty filler episodes about lars and watermelon stevens to flesh out the stuff that really matter. By the time warner bros decided that season 5 was gonna be the last, renata C6H12O6 bad no screen time left to do what the series needed and delivered an half assed season that made no fucking sense and still featured those fucking watermelon stevens.

We could discuss how those that forget history are damned to repeat it, but let's get real: unlike steven universe, neither of viv series have enough foundation to stand,

Saw the new episodes and it's alright

The Vees and Lute song are the best so far

As for the story, I'm pretty much validated in being right that Viv's interpretation of Christianity should be taken more as fantasy realms than a serious interpretation given the mentioning of other realms

I like that they're at least being fairly outright with Lute wanting that Dickmaster action instead of playing it coy. Subtilty is not what this show does well kek

Never really got why people are so hung up on the concept of comparing it to Christianity. It's one thing when it's some thought provoking story, but...Gay musical in Hell isn't one of them. Cmon. You gotta accept things for what they are sometimes, that if it's just "le quirky musical " then you don't have to conpare it to serious religious texts.

Alright, so I watched the first two episodes, and...Bite me, but I'll give it around 7/10 for songs. First season, whilst having some actually great songs like Stayed Gone...Had a looooy of random slog too(Welcome To Heaven, Out for Love). This time, Hazbin Guarantee was fun(haven't listened when it was music only), and rest of them either showed some worldbuilding, had good singing performances, or were generally fun.
We don't have much lore but for being a quirky, cheesy musical, it was decent enough, especially considering they put much more thought in songs(music preference is subjective thing, I know).
I also like that they took some time, kinda qent a bit on the backseat, without trying to cramp up dozens events in one episode, especially episode one. Sucks that it's only 8 episodes, but..Modern ADHD duration - good luck finding anything above 12 episodes.
For what it's worth, an alright watch. Far from being great, but it wasn't annoying to me. Perfectly okay.

PS: ....God, I feel bad for Lute. She is a hypocrite of highest degree, but going through shit like that, and being ignored by everyone must really suck.

...Oh, and also...
Your welcome buddy

Yeah and it's not like Viv is even pretending it's meant to be serious biblical interpretations at least right now anyway

So, hate to ruin this bible talk session. But, anyone get the feeling that Pentious's backstory was just thrown on the fly? Like, his backstory really goes against how we saw him behave, even if we ignore the pilot, the quick flashbacks show he was dead set on wanting to become a powerful overloard.

Anything but actually having a character atone for their actions. Everything in this show is thrown on the fly so whatever decision is made throughout the rest of the episodes won't surprise me whatsoever.

"Pentious didn't know better! He didnu nuffin wrong. See, anti-Hazbin fans? This is PROOF a sinner in the show CAN be redeemable! Take THAT!"

I guess, really I think what would have helped is if during the trial scene after see Pentious was sent to hell because he didn't report on Jack, he tried to keep towards his old mortal ideals. But, seeing how fucked up hell was (if we apply pilot logic), he had to adapt to stay alive and keep his sanity. However, with time passing he began to forget why he was doing this, as maybe he took down some weak overloards an got a taste for power.

All I ask is to please not make the Speaker a secret villain. I actually like her.

I'm not getting that vibe. In fact, I think the closest we'll get to a secret villain is Rosie given what's gonna be revealed about her and her relationship with Alastor in the future - but even then that'll probably just be more of her being a bitch than an out and out villain.

No, I think don't Vivzie is really capable of subtlety, and was pretty blatant in these two episodes about who the bad guys are and who the audience is supposed to root against (though it's hard not to root for Lute on some level).

I have said this before but Viv is just a female Chris Chan or Andrew Dobson.
I'd say she's closer to being the female version of the guy who made Miraculous Ladybug since while both have successful shows under their belts, both are very insecure people who would sometimes have their shows have mouthpieces to address or defend themselves from critique despite having enough success.

She is neirher fat, bald and ugly enough to be female Dobson, nor made a story about lesbian vaccine and vicious murdering of the people that told her to make a character out of Millie... Yet.
I want to believe she used crayola model magic to craft a stolas the fagowl dildo and she constantly wear it up her ugly cunt.

Why did the reporter guy keep talking about killing his wife if they're in hell? Does this imply he has an angelic weapon?

Anyway, Lute is best character but Pen and Emily are good too. Did Lute fall in love with Adam, I didn't know that was canon? Also they depicted Valentino hitting Angel Dust with a yaoi paddle accompanied with a goofy sound effect lmaooo oh Vivz
