He's not even that misogynistic. I'm trying to recall from my brain what insulting thing he has said in regards to women, but all I can think of is when he complained that some girl wanted to fuck a drummer instead of him. That's not him being a misogynist; that's him being a douche.

But yeah, maybe I'm forgetting things, but does Adam make any crude/sexual remarks towards women? I know about him naming Vaggie, but he never made any remarks about her body personally. He said he was one of his top girls, probably in regards to how many Sinners she has killed.
A big one I've seen from dykes (especially ones who love to cover their rooms in rainbow merch) is that his "Hot as fuck, though" line is misogynistic since it sexualizes lesbians, as if girl-on-girl porn hasn't been the most popular category since forever.

Not withstanding the idea that there's a pharmaceutical industry in hell it's just so fanfiction-y and breaks my suspension of disbelief.
Viziepop's depiction of hell is just Los Angeles, I bet its not even intentionally, just her subconcious giving her an ultimatum that, if she doesn't leave by their own, she ain't gonna wake up one day.

Part of me wonders if they chose Gravity to be released because it's already been out there for close to a year, I don't think it will have much plot relevance for now because Lute seems like she's going to be a more of a season 3 antagonist, it also helps that it is probably the best song of the series so far.

I was thinking about how Lute and Adam's reaction to Vaggie's betrayal doesn't makes sense at all. Shouldn't they be more angry about their top soldier switching side rather than just "lesbian carpet munching lololol"?
It would have been more interesting -character development wise- if Vaggie was not one of the top girls but one of the weakest. It could have been a efficient ugly duckling story, where she was bullied by the other exorcists because of her mediocre results. Unlike the others she doesn't takes pleasure in the killing and her superiors think of her as a lost cause.
Her alienation would makes her question her place and role in all this situation: she's a stranger within her own home, why should she fight for them? She's refusing one day to carry out her given order, crossing the point of no return.
It would be the last straw for Lute who always considered Vaggie a burden and a disgrace to the exorcists. Her evisceration of Vaggie's eye & wings being the culmination of bullying her from years (as it sadly happens in real life, it often ends up becoming physical) and the ultimate rejection from Heaven.
Then you have the story with Charlie who takes her and treats her wounds, feeling for the first time what acceptance is. She at last have the space to be herself without other's expectation. But she fears to lose this new freedom thus why she doesn't tell her past to Charlie.
Her scene with Carmilla would have a stronger impact too, the classic fallen but returning stronger after training hard with the master trope. When she meets Lute and Adam again she's not the same person anymore but they don't know that ; for them she's the same loser and her siding with the demons is a logic leap since Vaggie is weak minded and was never like them anyway. They even continue to mock and bully her like they did before.
You'll have all the drama about her past that some kiwis already covered, then Vaggie have her satisfying revenge against the exorcists at the end of the season fight by kicking Lute's butt and solidifying her place among her friends & alongside her lover.
You could even have in next seasons a moment about Vaggie saying she already had her redemption or something similar on why she has wilfully chose to stay in Hell, making the concept of redemtion a thing transcending the boundaries of Hell and Heaven or some philosophical shit like that.
Dang I have too much time, I should find a new hobby

Probably. Maybe that's why they're promoting Abel so much. When they did that promo with Patrick Stump, one of the lines they used was heard in the leak (The one where he realized the word play in Sir Pentious's name).

This hurts my eyes wirh the animation. Its too much. I genuinely thought Lute was having a stroke the way she moves. Its far too much. I get it shes emotional, but she moves far to much for me to sink into how shes feeling and her thoughts on this as her face is not shown as much, its her bouncing around and darting like shes gotten into Adam's coke stash. Makes me kind of sick the amount of movement, and it makes her lose her humanity as she looks like shes too bouncy and unrealistic. It makes it uncanny to me.
I thought it was me and my eyes getting old.
I'm not a good show, animation, or muusical critic or anything, but it was all hard cuts after hard cuts. Theres no rhythm or flow to her erratic movement. She acted like a complete spaz.
This sort of thing is usually reserved to a scene in someone's else POV or a camera behind someone so you get a wider and bigger shot, which completely ruins the whole thing by making it a joke that misses the mark at the end. This shouldn't be a music scene at all. Just show her trashing a nearby bed and holding a picture of Adam out of despair or something.

You are not old your eyes don't deceive you. As someone who is an animator and majored in it and does art in general. Its more of she has no weight or structure. Her wings move too smoothly like they are made of paper, much like her body. Like when she drops to the ground to cry the wings just MELT, and when she screams the last parts and her wings open they don't move like wings or have the same bones as wings do. Her steps aren't believable nor is her scratches, lands or punches. They need to be at different frame rates for it I think. There needs to be some resistance in these actions. She looks like shes made of clay like Gumby. It also doesn't help that we don't know the layout of the room so we don't know WHERE we are as a viewer. So the tall ceiling has no weight the records and glass don't work here. As there are no scenss of just to room for us to ground ourselves.

Lastly this is Adam's room correct? For someone who loves Adam. Why is she destroying his room or office? Shouldn't she want to I don't know KEEP them? Thats all she has left of the man. But no she needs to have a schizophrenic meltdown.... for some reason. Which is Viv having her 14 year old MLP song.

Less is more as they say. And currently I'm not looking forward to 3 musicals in an episode if this is what its going to be like.

Too bad they don't have anyone involved with the series who could have experience with that film. (Yes, I know he's just an actor.)
Knowing Viv, Keith David voicing the villain in that movie is probably the only reason she got him involved. Sure, he's one of those actors who's been in a ton of stuff, by all accounts is a good guy to work with, rarely turns in a bad performance, and actually did well with what he was given for Hazbin, but holy miscast, his voice does not fit a jaded chronic alcoholic. Only helping this view is that he stands out from the rest of the cast since he's much more known for his film and VA roles than his career in theater.

Speaking of big named casting, I remember Viv wanted Vox to be voiced by Mark Hamill, and given his age, it probably is for the best he got a recast since his new VA really sells the whole sleazy tv host personality.

But you can still kinda tell she really wrote Vox with Hamill in mind because if you read or listen to some of Vox's lines in Mark Hamill's Joker voice they mostly fit

I saw this scene here where her wings don't flap to keep her up so she kind of just floats for 3 seconds with tiny movements in her wings. Unironically its giving me this vibe.

The composition is EXACT.

Also broken wings here. Her bones literally popping out of her wings here

For comparison the black things are suppose to be on the feathers. Thats what birds use to fly and she just BROKE her wings doing that pose.

Her wings are inconsistent where rhey are placed and the bone structure keeps changing.

Option 1: Woman moment

Option 2: Her destroying his stuff is essentially just her refusing to actually accept that he's gone. Wistfully keeping his stuff in pristine condition is tacitly accepting that this is all that's left of him, but she's tweaking out and literally hallucinating him while swearing vengeance so in her mind that would make no sense.

Adam isn't really dead in her mind, he's a part of her and he's demanding retribution. Sitting in bed sobbing over her Adam bodypillow doesn't matter when his killers are still walking around and no one even seems to care that he was murdered.

I dunno I'm probably thinking too hard about it and option 1 is more accurate lol

Its option 1. The second doesn't make sense either in a grieving sense. I mean like she shouldn't be BREAKING his stuff. If she left it in prestige condition than fine that means she accepts he's dead and leaving it the way he left it.

But going into his room and touching things would be more that she didn't move on that would of been far more heavy and understandable. Thats how grieving works, this is reads like shes having a schizophrenic episode and destroying his legacy, and everything he built the records and even his guitar is broken out of the glass (WHICH SHE COULD USE.) but no it makes no sense.

I'm probably misremembering things, but I feel like Viv didn't draw Husk with a beer bottle as often in her older artwork because it conveyed this melancholic atmosphere which compliments Husk as this miserable doom and gloom. If it weren't for him constantly holding a bottle, could you buy this character as an alcoholic, no, drunk bum devoid of life? Husk was stated to be good with kids, having a fondness for magic shows, and travel a lot, which I felt like his original voice was supposed to display irony. The problem with Keith is that his smooth suave voice makes those aspects about him unironic, and he sounds like he just needs to lighten up a bit.

Age is a major factor, but in general, the Joker voice was straining Hamill's throat, so he wanted to retire from doing that, only reprising if Kevin Conroy was playing Batman. If Viv intended for Hamill to do the Joker voice for Vox, she'd be out of luck.

this reads like shes having a schizophrenic episode
I mean she is.

I'm not saying that her breaking shit is grieving in a normal way, I'm saying that her breaking shit is her going insane and sperging out because of her grief and refusal to accept that he's gone.

I'm just kinda piecing this together from one song though tbf, I could be completely wrong and it doesn't make any sense in the show either.

For what we've seen of her it doesn't fit the personality they established for her. She respects him and hes her superior. It would make more sense if they showed her being this crazy. Theonly thing shown was that she said in to "Kill Vaggie and rip out her cunt mouth." Which shows that shes more bloodthirsty than anything and she listens to Adam when he tells her to stop. So its controlled war bloodthirst, not I'm destroying my close friend and commanding officers stuff which would get her immediately FIRED and lose her status. But knowing Vivianne this won't have any consequences.
