Question: why is the Trashbin video game a damn card game? Why couldn't it be a damn Crusader Kings/strategy like game where you must "manage" Hell, otherwise it will be overcrowded and the Exorcists will force their hand to exterminate the overpopulation?
Or you can play as either factions, prepare Heaven, maybe use diplomacy - prepare exorcists and eliminate I.M.P-lookalikes to influence humans and keep them safe. Have "A.N.G.E.L.S", which will punish Hell for doing so; or something, damn it!

Or if that's just too "hard" (read: nooooo, you'll ruin my "lore"/kill my sweet fujodoodoo couples) just have a Simpsons: Hit & Run-like game which has a revival as of late; maybe a Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom! Just... not a fucking card game!!!

There is a fanmade mode someone did on here or somewhere else where they added a game mode to a game with Hazbin characters. If I still have Plauged Inc I'd make a virus related to Hazbin.

I do recall someone making a HB beat 'em up Streets of Rage style, there was also a Pizza Tower mod in the works, where ya play as Moxxie. Dunno if that mod had any progress, but the art and animations were nice looking

We got a trailer for Helluva Boss going on Prime. It actually makes the show not look like a complete shit-show.

I'm honestly kinda pissed that it's just gonna come out with retcon of the pilot, that would probably make Stolas "uwu innocent", and not an exploitative cunt that he was in the actual pilot
 
Imagine writing a gay romance between a fallen angel and the princess of Hell and it NOT being massively popular on Tumblr. Huh? The concept is perfect for these types of people: gays, angel/demon, enemies to lovers, sweet/edgy, princess/knight kinda, probably some other tropes if you squint hard enough.

How bland does a romance have to be? How hard do you have to fumble the bag as a writer to not make it a little interesting, even to Tumblr teens? Charlie and Vaggie feel like the background lesbian couple to the main yaoi ship in a fanfiction. But they're supposed the main couple in Hazbin? Sure.

Maybe it would be better if Charlie and Vaggie didn't start out as a couple. Seeing them slowly getting together could be more interesting than what we ended up having.

I think the issue stems, that in the Pilot we were never given any impression of a romance, sure we see how Vaggie worries about Charlie and doesnt want her to embarass herself, but it never gave romantic vibes. More like that they're very good friends or partners in crime who always look out for each other. Quick cut to the Amazon show where they're supposed to be a couple, but they at no point show any actual chemistry with each other.

Yeah, I’m going to be honest here: I can’t buy them as a couple. There’s no chemistry, the relationship just looks… forced.

It’s like a little girl picked up two dolls and started mashing them together/

Not only that, but their individual personalities took a hit. Veggie’s is as stiff as board, and Charlie no longer has the backbone she had in the pilot.

There was a clear dynamic in the pilot: Vaggie was the straightman, well girl, to Charlies quirky and off the cuff nature.

In the show, not only is she flat but she kinda exibits some off the cuff behavior herself on a few occassions, while Charlie still needs to be the quirky type. But not only is she spineless, her quirky nature gets ramped up to 11 where you ask if this girl taking her AHDH meds or not.

I don't know about you, but I really think she seethes about the fact that many people rightfully love Season 1 instead of 2. The problem really is that season 2 is most a very shallow, anticlimactic, and sometimes overly dramatic at trying to change the course of the show (like Full Moon), hence people think it's trash.



Btw, funny how people see half of the trailer being about murders, and then she thinks it's somehow not proving everyone else's point about what it initially was. A few more gigabytes of VRAM into her brain should do the trick xD

It's somewhat accurate as to a long-term lesbian couple. All those I've known, if you hadn't known they were an item, you might just think they were good friends.

I liked that dynamic, the good natured but head in the clouds protagonist and her tard wrangler. Sort of a Don Quixote/Sancho Panza thing.

Dude, you took the words right out of my mouth.

I miss how passionate Vaggie was in the pilot. Her voice actor put a lot of emotion in her Vaggie’s lines.

I also hate how they turned Charlie into a stereotypical quirky girl. The pilot Charlie had a backbone and could stand up for herself.

Why do Brandon Rogers lines feel so forced and inauthentic when he's supposed to be a Broadway actor? Erica Lindbeck sounds much more natural. Total Loona victory once more.

She was good as Millie, too. I love the line from the pilot when she puts her heart and soul into calling Loona a bitch.

As for Rogers, yeah. Have you seen that Normal British Couple thing he did with Stella's VA before HB? It's absolute trash. I sat through the gay bird melodrama out of morbid curiosity but I got like two episodes into Normal British Couple before thinking, "Nah, this is shit." and noping out.

E: Actually, is Rogers a Broadway actor? His Wikipedia doesn't mention it.
