It kind of reminds me of when Zootopia came out, and there was a slew of art depicting Nick or Judy getting shot.

Having the strawberry jam be the only colored element in the comic was an excellent stylistic choice.View attachment 7783822View attachment 7783824
OK in reality it's revealed to be a strawberry jam cannon, but that's a lot less fun.
Sweet waffles I forgot how dumb this comic was, also fact that Judy was made to look and sound like Hillary.View attachment 7783822View attachment 7783824

They mentioned that people in Heaven benefited from the technological advancements that he made. Which I can believe because that's very much true to real life. They probably don't know all the shady things he had to do to make such things possible for them. This brings up the question, who in heaven wanted the old man not to kill himself? Whilst simultaneously in hell, loopy-poopy whatever, wanted him dead
Even in their TV ad he was the one who appeared to do the heavy lifting.Which is funny, cause among the cherubs Colin is a fan favorite (also guilty of this myself) and kinda seemed like the more interesting/nicer of the three.
Yap, I'd say it's this mixed with his nature is what got fans to like him, plus wanting to see more about him. Like, it's not even a big surprise that Collin gets some snazzy art or stories featuring him.Even in their TV ad he was the one who appeared to do the heavy lifting.
Or they knew and very much wanted him to stay alive so he wont go to hell just yet. They mentioned that people in Heaven benefited from the technological advancements that he made. Loopty-Goopty wanted him dead because he missed his best friend.
If you look closely it appear Moxxie's arms are not even supporting his wife. The creator of this piece would fit perfectly at Spindlehorse.I saw this art on the Helluva Boss subreddit and the artist probably thought it was so serious and emotional without realizing Moxxie and Millie are just two silly goobers most of the time.

Now that you mention it, it looks more like Millie has just collapsed into Moxxie who has his fists clenched in impotent rage. (I mean he's not too impotent since he got Millie pregnant but you know what I mean.)If you look closely it appear Moxxie's arms are not even supporting his wife. Yeah this is something that gets over looked: The entire point of praying for someone isn’t done purely because they’re a good person that needs something or about self improvement, it can be done cause someone else seems irredeemable and awful, but you want them to repent. It’s important to do this especially if they’re the latter and close to death.Or they knew and very much wanted him to stay alive so he wont go to hell just yet.
It's possible that if the Cherubs won and Lyle did what they told him, he might've ended up in heaven because of it.

I guess you could look at Lyle akin to Scrooge. Perhaps if he had saw the errors of his past, he could have change for the better. And then have been redeemed on Earth to go to Heaven.Yeah this is something that gets over looked: The entire point of praying for someone isn’t done purely because they’re a good person that needs something or about self improvement, it can be done cause someone else seems irredeemable and awful, but you want them to repent. If this is Christian Heaven, then angels aren’t looking at them thinking, ‘oh this human is too bad, we can’t help him no matter who prays’, no, if the order comes down, they’re doing their best to save him (end of the day though, the ball is in the human’s court. They need to make the choice because free will) nor are they busting out the champaign when someone gets damned, neither is God. They’re very likely mourning the loss.
Unfortunately, this is HH/HB, so it’s likely we’re talking about So-Cal Heaven, where it’s less eternal paradise basking in the light and love of God, and more akin to a gated Hwite community filled with hypocrites and straw-men (Those hypocrites have a pretty nice and clean city though. You have to wonder if the exclusion works), because God forbid there be a place where good is just good and there’s no subversion.
He kind of did, right before he got smashed by a piano. It's possible that if the Cherubs won and Lyle did what they told him, he might've ended up in heaven because of it.
This show could have greatly benefited from a motif like every show having a "Sinner of the Week" introduced in the opening scene and with their story weaving through the rest of the episode (or multiple episodes) until they are redeemed (or not). Sort of like a Six Feet Under episode.Which brings up something that I've been pondering about: Does Charlie even know how her patients got to Hell in the first place? Has she even asked them what their life was like before they got to Hell? I feel like that's the first important step; to acknowledge what the problem is.
Gonna get a little autistic here, but since we’re on the topic of Collin, I know I’ve said it before on this thread, but for some of the moments of HB to work, especially as a drama, you need someone with a moral center to them to act as IMP’s Jiminy cricket, at least giving them a reason to have moral quandaries. Collin would fit that role perfectly. (It would even give the fans on twitter a “redemption arc” despite the fact that it’s not like he needs one. I know stealing is brought up often, but I feel like that’s used by people who would argue that anyone poor that steals has not other options, so I wonder why the angels doing it would be any different.)Yap, I'd say it's this mixed with his nature is what got fans to like him, plus wanting to see more about him. It's not a terrible idea in concept. The only issue I see is Collin isn't shown to have much in the way of agency or independence at this point in the show and it would be more likely for the writers to add some new retarded character to serve a similar purpose. Gotta create buzz and content for all the fan's video essays! (Many of which I've watched.)Second option) Collin’s goes there of his own free will to try and convince them to stop, because bullets and battles sure as hell aren’t working, maybe words will. He figures that if he stops IMP, maybe he can be let back into Heaven and see his family again. He knows it stupid. He knows it’s a long-shot. He knows that more likely than not, someone will turn him into mutton by the end of the week, but by jove will he give it his best try. What’s he have to lose? He’s already banished from Heaven. Stolas thinks he’s adorable, treating him more like a stray pet than a person and even asking Blitzo if he can keep it, promising to feed and clean up after it. The others are convinced someone, probably Loona if she gets a little hungry, will turn him into mutton by the end of the week, so of course they let him stay because they want front row seats to that. And from there it’s just him witnessing a slow motion train wreck that is IMP and Stolitz.
Snoot Game did something similar where feather plucking was analogous for self harm. That's the vibe I'm getting here. Personally I doubt Loona would be that invested in Stolas' well being, considering they've barely interacted and she has more of a relationship with Octavia than any of the Goetias.Dr. Prima has detected dangerously low levels of Stolas suffering in recent pages:

This was my exact thought. I can't imagine she'd want to see Stolas dead for Blitzo's sake - she did risk her life for him with the rest of I.M.P., after all. But if she walked in on him doing this she'd probably just say, "Ugh, don't clog the drain with those fucking feathers."Snoot Game did something similar where feather plucking was analogous for self harm. The early Moxxie was shaping up to be like that. He was the only member of the team who seemed to have any ethical qualms about what they were doing (although the most prominent example involved him being completely wrong).Gonna get a little autistic here, but since we’re on the topic of Collin, I know I’ve said it before on this thread, but for some of the moments of HB to work, especially as a drama, you need someone with a moral center to them to act as IMP’s Jiminy cricket, at least giving them a reason to have moral quandaries. Even the concept itself is very utopic and imposible: Really Charlie thinks a serial killer, a pedophile, a dictator or even the Satan Itself can be redemed to go to heaven?Does Charlie even know how her patients got to Hell in the first place? Has she even asked them what their life was like before they got to Hell? I feel like that's the first important step; to acknowledge what the problem is. And all her exercises she had for them never acknowledge that (or even really worked). Which would be fine if that was something Charlie had to learn and grow from; that her current methods aren't working. But everyone around her and the show itself acts like she has done everything well and that she should change absolutely nothing.
Actually not even the crime of betraying Christ himself is unforgivable. The ultimate cardinal sin of Judas was not even betraying Jesus. It was committing suicide in despair, believing that he had committed a crime so vile that not even God could forgive it.Even the concept itself is very utopic and imposible: Really Charlie thinks a serial killer, a pedophile, a dictator or even the Satan Itself can be redemed to go to heaven?
