While there's no doubt Vivzie takes heavy inspiration from her personal life for aspects of her characters, Loona is better off being in the show than not. Her jerkass tendencies are toned down from her pilot appearance and she serves as a straight man for Blizø's crazier schemes and helps ground him emotionally. That being said, it's painfully obvious she's pandering of the furry and goth girl variety who hate their days which a large portion of the show's audience consists of.

In a better written show, Loona would be a well-developed character that just isn't furry-bait. She has the pieces for it; they're just not being utilized because again...the show wants to focus on gay relationship drama. Considering the little bit of backstory we got of her, it makes sense why she would be closed off from most people and is afraid to be vulnerable with others. It's just that any character growth we get from her is either not shown on screen or is reverted back in the next episode. The fact that in Seeing Stars we see her beating up Blitzø for just a mild criticism of her work ethic, when previously we never seen her be violent with Blitzø ever before, is that even though this show is now claiming to be an in-depth study on characters and relationships, it's still wanting to be a simple episodic comedy that focuses on humor foremost instead of being a character-driven story.

That explains...a lot actually. She had season 3 already planned out, and had to then plan how season 1 and season 2 would lead to season 3. And I have a feeling she might not have changed much of season 3 to fit with whatever is going on with the previous seasons.

She's just an executive producer for the project, meaning she'll probably have very little creative input into Homestuck.

The real question I'm wondering is: why? Who asked for this? Homestuck doesn't have much relevancy except maybe a mention on the shit that went around it during it's time.

The only character development we see that sticks is her making friends, which was a problem introduced in season 1 episode 3 and only shown to have been resolved season 2 episode 12. Not to mention it progressed entirely off screen so it robs it of most of the impact. She's a very well designed character on a very mediocre show. It's like having a star quarterback on a middling NFL team. Trevor Lawrence on the Jaguars anyone?

No, you're right he is. He greeted Tavi the same in the previous panel. I'm huffing weapons grade copium that season 3 will be better but I've already been burned by Arcane at this point. Hell, the fans can write better stories than Vivzie herself, as shown here.

God that is so depressing. And the worst part is there are people that would want this to happen. The fact that they hate a 17 year old that much for being reasonably upset that her dad is having an affair.

Especially after her worst fear was her dad would abandon her for that red-faced rent boy, and he promised her he wouldn't. Then he basically did exactly that. Stella is the bad guy here why exactly?

She's not a bad guy per say, more of a hero antagonist. Blitzø and Stolas are the protagonists who want to fuck each other and Octavia is opposed to that, making her the antagonist in this situation as sad or immoral as it may be.
