This is petty even by Farm standards but Moxxie's last name being "Knolastname" (DO YOU GET IT) is easily the most infuriating joke they've ever made. You can just tell they thought it was so fucking clever. Well it's not! Do you know how fucking easy it is to give someone a last name? Especially if you're going to play his family being mafioso dead seriously?

Patrick S. Tomlinson did nearly the exact same thing with his character "Firstname Lastname". But at least with Pat it was supposed to be a Douglas Adamsesque clerical error.
Viv has actually done something worse than Fat Rick.

Someone can fact check this, I don't care to, but iirc Moxxie's last name (and family name as a whole) was a PLACEHOLDER and they kept it because Viv thought it was the funniest shit ever.

Edit: I remember it being a livestream (Of course everything is from a livestream, it's Vivzie), or a tweet, or something like that.

If this is true, then this is one step worse compared to things like Dexter's Lab, where Dexter and Dee Dee have no last name and their parents are called Mr. Dexter's Dad and Mrs. Dexter's Mom.

Side note: Helluva Boss somehow "subverted this" by withholding Ralphie and Martha's children's names. I like it, finally children being unnamed as opposed to the parents. Someone should do a cartoon where the parents are named and children are unnamed just because. I never liked this detail and always pissed me off - why NOT name the children's parents, for fuck's sake? (🧩)

The last time this was even slightly funny was in Malcolm in the Middle, and that's only because they never really drew attention to it until literally the very last episode, and they did it in a way where it can be easily overlooked.
Shit like Fairly OddParents where a loud truck drives by as Timmy's parents' names are being said is the dumbest shit.

Welp, I really got only got two things to say about the pride merch run.

Wasn't Mrs. Mayberry happily married before she caught him cheating? She even wanted to have kids with him. I really don't want to say Viv is perpetuating the stereotype that women become lesbians because of a bad experience with a man but...she's definitely not helping.

And here's the pride poster in all it's rainbow vomit induced glory, with even more background characters added that most people probably don't give two shits about like the rest of Verosika's crew and that one guy Stolas hooked up with at the Blitzø hate party. At least they added Vortex in. I was wondering why he wasn't in last year's pride picture supporting his girlfriend like Millie was with Moxxie.

Also I don't understand why they didn't add Martha and Mayberry in considering they have been confirmed as LGBT. It's not like these posters have even been "canon" to the plot of the show. Otherwise Chaz wouldn't have been in the last one since he had been killed... though he's not in this poster so I guess I can be thankful I don't have to see that fucking shark this year.
 
The talk about names reminds me of one of Bill Watterson's commentaries on Calvin and Hobbes.

Specifically, he talks about how he never reused Uncle Max. It's because Calvin's parents were specifically left unamed and it didn't make sense why Max would never say his brother or sister in law's names.

It's a shame Viv doesn't put that amount of thought into her work. Otherwise we might have had something good on our hands.

She had one major appearance in episode one and a background appearance that was little more than fan service. The fact that she had a husband and wanted kids in her debut episode makes me belive much like octavias "asexuallity" it was done just so they can lip service and leech off the pride market despite the fact that rainbow capitalism is pretty much deader than a dick on hrt at this point.



Well anyways I knew the SECOND I saw the notice for this trailer that you guys would be like sharks in the water when they smell blood.

The new stuff she made is eyebleeding. I'm use to this being uninspired and broken but I feel with this recent drop people would be critical on how bad these designs are and how much they clash.

Some have so much color its repulsive to look at and specifically the pride pins. Dear lord. Perhaps its already because of their large color palette on top of the pride palette. I can't wait to see how these will fair in large production, as people were already complaining about the quality worsening.

I dont understand I thought they confirmed Millie was also bisexual. I feel like with alot of characters they're forgetting their sexualities like Mayberry being a lesbian now.. even though shes married to a guy and didn't seem into women at all.. whatever.

Think its funny their selling Crimson merch on Pride, as hes "homophobic". Sort of funny buying a homophobic character for a gay pride month but go ahead. Kind of weird to sell it based on this seen is a triggering abuse scene.

Really dont like that alot of the characters are being drawn as femboys and or in femininizing clothes. Like I get their gay but not all gay people are wearing women's clothes and stuff, it comes off as very fetishistic. Especially when Stolas isnt wearing this kind of stuff it usually is Andrealphus who's the "feminine" gay. Stolas has always worn somewhat masculine clothing so its weird how much they push him to being a feminine boyfriend when Blitzo has worn more women's clothing than him, if anything Blitzo should be wearing more female clothes.

Anyways same as usual really morning and bad products, broken anatomy, and horrible layouts/composition for merch. I wonder how much this will flop, as I've heard her sales have been dropping.
