Viv's work has what might be the worst case of protagonist centered morality I've ever seen.
Prime example for me is how Verosika and her crew outright rape Moxxie in her introduction episode, but thanks to S2 making her okay with Blitzo, we're now supposed to like her, and her actions in her S1 episode are entirely ignored.

So looks like GLITCH is getting involved with Amazon too. But it seems like Amazon is only streaming Murder Drones, and any other future GLITCH shows, similar to Netflix with Digital Circus.

Vaggie, in addition to the juvenile name, has the same problem as Millie, in that she only exists as an appendage to her significant other character.

Which sucks because she didn't USE to be that. Back when she dated Angel Dust and Charlie wasn't the MC she was some 2000's emo kid who killed herself and had way more character than now

Doesn't help when they do attempt at giving her a character, it doesn't go anywhere. Her struggles of being a leader? Turns out her methods worked out after all and she can lead just fine in the finale. Her being an Exorcist? Charlie was just upset she hid that from her and they made up within the following episode. Her learning to fight for love instead of vengeance? The closest to her being vengeful was her sternness towards Heaven.
I remember it was once stated in a Livestream that when it comes to handling kids, Vaggie's bad with it. Bet you that if they do decide to implement that aspect of her character at some point, they're going to bring back that Cannibal child she spared to show that "See? Vaggie is good with kids after all!" only for her to go back to being Charlie's fuck buddy.

It is time. Velvette
Working on the Vox one made me reconsider my original ideas for redesigns and the order I did them. I made some random sketches of Velvette. At first I imagined emphasizing her doll features and making her a mannequin that you would find in a store. But something hit me on how repetitive Vivs designs are making characters be dolls, (Charlie/Razzle Dazzle/Velvette) it sort of lost meaning of why they were desgined like that, so I pushed for something completely different.
Velvette her character really confuses me. From her design she doesn’t resemble a doll, her features aren't black, and she looks like a toddler and not a young woman. Her color scheme strained my eyes at points in the show, and her outfit doesnt give me a fashion designer.
Old
Although I do like her outline it doesnt fit a black person. Clothes either. It looks like she's Valentino's side piece because of how similar her style is to his.
Her face is very repetitive.
Doesn't intimidate
Confusing details (lips, hearts everywhere, swirls in her hair, weird clown shoes, random stripes)
Super small
Doesn't look like a doll.
Same body type.

Gave her a fitting hairstyle with a unique outfit a boujee fashion one piece. Woth long black heels.
Gave her a pink/black and yellow color scheme. Playing with these colors as they are seen as "happier and more pleasant" but the black offsets her "nicer demeanor".
Changed her motif to be a Tapeworm demon. Her dreads are made of tapeworms, her legs, arms, and in her palm she releases tapeworms. Giving her a human look, and referencing her other inspiration "Medusa"
She has a narcissist personality disorder.
She puts her tapeworms in her models to control them, and the tapeworms feeds on their youth, soul and body.
Her lower face is the face she uses on TV, and around people, but her real face is what she truly looks like. She shows it to her models to scare them into place as she ridicules and demeanes them.
Her eyebrows and nose are refrences of her life before and all the plastic surgery she did. And the tapeworms are an illusion for her being a parasite.
She can use and see through all the tapeworms.
Storywise
She is the reprsentive of the V's because she is the pretty face. She would also be the distributor (love potion/ her own supplements/ clothing and fashion) and marketing, "HR"
She was a prodigy fashion designer at the age of 10 she was shadowing a famous French Fashion designer who built her up, and tried to market her being a minority and a woman.
Models under his wing were often abused. (grooming, sexually assaulting, humiliated) She wasn't any different, and she infact was his favorite because she was so young and bright.
When he dies she inherited his legacy at age 13. Instead of helping the others who suffered she instead goes on a power trip and abuses them calling them all fat, hitting them, and pulling their hair.
She secretly adds laxatives/parasites/ and starves them to keep them skinny. Many get very sick because of her poisoning.
As she ages she begins to reject it. She sees she's developing more, and because of her trauma she tries to stop her aging and begins to get plastic surgery at age 16. And begins to take the models regiment herself, and on top of surgery her body is in abysmal shape. At age 20 she is barely recognizable looking gaunt and skeletal like she's aged by 40 years. She disregards health and dies at age 23.
Back in hell she becomes beautiful again, and starts by feeding on unsuspecting demons to gain strength. Vox meets her and makes a deal with her to get more eyes and models for her if she can do all of the grunt work and look pretty while doing it.
She gladly accepts it. And rises up quickly, she hides her real side to others and is seen as one of the "undeserved people to belong in hell" and says she was brought to hell because she wasn't baptized. No dirt is on her as a new arrival.
She is seen as friendly and nice, lovebombing her new models and makes them feel better about themselves. When they get hooked (she feeds them food that she lays eggs in) she changes having them in her web and does the same thing she did when she was alive.
She feeds on the demons, and because a part of her is in them she can control them. If they try to tell anyone or try to do anything about it the tapeworms rip their organs and feed causing an indescribable pain. When they become too weak and useless she keeps them in her walk-in closet completely immobile and are stuck forever.

This seems like where the industry in the west is going and Amazon is going all in on it. The path is now "indie pilot(s) to prove viability and/or interest" and then one of the big corps picks you up.
Which tbh is better than what we had in the 2010s where retarded focus-groups decided which shows to greenlight and which ones to kill. At least now we might actually get some shows with SOVL instead of more bland reboots of already-bland 80s cartoons.

It helps that GLITCH seems to keep control over their own properties and I guess by extension Vivziepop also has some degree of control.
Which probably would be why Amazon is so lucrative since it wouldn't be like a TV network where the IP rights are handed over to the network.
That's at least what I can assume which is a big win for the indie people since they can get financial support while still maintaining some control while Amazon can air episodes earlier or have enough access for people that wouldn't be able to watch these things on Youtube.
