And even then, they don't have a full-on conversation with each other until episode seven when Alastor makes a deal with her.

I'm surprised that Alastor barely has any effect on S1's plot, the only thing he directly does that has an effect is the deal with Charlie and taking her to go see Rosie to get some cannon fodder for the battle. The closest thing he does before that is helping make a commercial for a B plot that goes nowhere and him being at the hotel causing Vox to send Pentious to spy on them.

I remember hearing that she hated the charliexalastor pairing but i'm not sure how true that is. Which is funny because i feel like everytime someone tries to sink a ship it's only gonna make more people ship it more.

Its impressive how Viv managed to destroy a character so quickly, an then how quickly she goes into his backstory in S2.

Funny thing is I don't mind these events playing out, Alastor being the most powerful Sinner basically means he's just the biggest fish the pond and once he gets roped in with Charlie he finds himself in the ocean, facing people not only more powerful than him but also eons older so they can see right through his manipulation tactics and turn the tables. Part of his arc being him realizing he's not as powerful as he thinks and having a breakdown over it is fine, but of course he's only shown killing some Exorcist fodder and some random lowly Sinners who are trying to get to Mimzy. Combined with the leaks where Vox manages to kick his ass and restrain him by merely tying him to a chair, probably because he's absolutely nothing without his now busted microphone, he becomes Fraudlastor.

We haven't seen the last of his backstory, mark my words that Viv will find some way to destroy his character even further, almost certainly by giving him a sob story through adding yet another character with daddy issues which will completely excuse him being a cannibalistic serial killer.

Personally could disagree only because so far Vivzie gives sad backstories to characters who are in ships or are pathetic to begin with.

Like if she didn't already ship Lucifer with Lilith (who were married anyway in this show but whatever), she'd probably give him one just to be with Lucy.

Though I could be proven wrong, its just so far Alastor is just an evil tumblr sexyman who has probably attacked two of the main characters.

I don't think Viv understands why Beatrice Horseman's backstory worked. While Beatrice herself was a pretty shitty person, there were instances before we got to the backstory episode that showed she wasn't just some one-dimensional bitch that existed to solely antagonize Bojack.

Stella is just a one-dimensional bitch that is solely here to give Stolas sympathy. That's it. There's no nuance to her or any reason for why she acts the way she does; she just does thing to hurt Stolas fee-fees. Any chance that could have been given to expand on Stella has been wasted.

I don't trust Viv writing a backstory episode for Stella. She did a terrible job on writing one for Stolas as it didn't even expand that much on his history and only really showed how he fell in love with Blitzø. And even if Stella's backstory episode was the best written episode of the series, it wouldn't really matter in the end. Because Stella is so flat as a character, anything that was told or shown to us in the past wouldn't really matter to the present. Viv has made it quite clear that Stella is just a dumb bitch that hates Stolas because. Anything we get on Stella in the past to make her more complex would just feel like a completely different character at this point.

I just want to see Alastor frown or show any other facial expression that doesn't involve smiling. Funnily enough I've imagined it happening through an old fashioned ass whippin.

Finished him finally. Okay saw peoples thoughts and thought of implementing some of them into the design.

Its ADAM time.

So yeah Vivs design looks lackluster here, just looks like Dream or a generic pastey frat boy. Nothing really screams first man to me.

Old design
Not the biggest fan of the horn helmet, silhouette test shows that he would be related to Blitzo as his head is shaped like an imp for some reason.
His body is weird. It's fat but not?
Super pale and pasty
Doesn't look like the first man.
His outfit is odd to me. With the face thing and the "robes"?

New design

Changed his helmet to look more angelic meaning it would be more incomprehensible. It still has a LED element, but it would be of a giant eye to adapt with the angels looks. Three points (father, son, holy spirit)
His outfit gives him a holier look, a pastor look, his robe has a giant fig leaf (that's the leaf that covered Adam's junk)
His halo looks sort of like a crown of spikes almost, arrows pointed at his head.
Really liked the idea of him being larger. He's a tank, strong fat body. I'd like to think he comes to heaven he sort of let himself go, and might over indulge in all the human creations they bring back to heaven, as it's something fascinating to him.
His wings are made of gods light not of feathers as he wasn't created as an angel.
He's not pasty and has a little color to him, and with curly features. Adam is often depicted with curly brown hair and a slightly dark completion.
Kept the bags under his eyes.
When he talks the eyes LED becomes a mouth.
He's 7 feet tall.
Still has guitar axe.

Story wise

He is seen as "immature" in ways, he is the youngest of gods creations. And with this constant influx of souls younger than him he tries to adapt . The language changes and grows since when he was alive, he tries to adapt to different vocabulary.

He feels left out with the angels as they were created. As he is always interacting with them he feels lower then them as he was mortal, he can't connect with them in a human level.

Hides that he's a human as hes ashamed of his origin. Since he's been so long in heaven he's extra cautious, and fears for all of his children. Feeling very down that so many of his children have become demons.

He hangs around humans to connect, though most mortal souls blame him for their suffering. (People blame him for him not listening to God and eating the apple.)

Overworked, stressed and depressed in some ways.

Connects with Lute as she's a lost soul (mortal) almost like him.

Wants to prove himself to Seraphims by doing creating the exterminations to keep hell at bay. Thinking because they are his children it's his responsibility to "take care of them".

Is a silent observer personality, learning before striking.

When he hears of Charlie's existence he begins to panic thinking that all of humanity will be doomed. He carefully watches Charlie monitoring her to learn about her.

Over the years of exterminations he finally comes down and tries to do the old fashioned trick the devil would use. Saying that the Exterminations have been happening behind his back. And tries to convince her that he's actually down here to congratulate her, saying that they are totally redeemable and that he personally wanted to bestow upon her her own mortal soul as a gift. Lying of course he wants to draw her out and kill her himself.

Anyways, a reason why that made me laugh was "it's edgy" and "popular among rebellious young people." Well clearly ai needs to learn what edgy is and adjust its definition of Young. Cause firstly vivzie's material hasn't been "edgy" since she made a long since broken promise to not have any trans genderspecials on her show...and possibly wince she created that sausage party oc who was a literal food nazi. Secondly the only audience she has left are 30 something "hazbins" much like herself.


I don't like to agree with the "sad know it alls" of the world, Walsh, knowles, Shapiro, and watson, but they were right to say there's an entire generation or two who have rejected vivzie's and indeed all leftist ideas of what "edgy" is, and everything that goes against her is now the "new edgy."
