So a Helluva fan decided to vandalize their school's library. And yes, it was confirmed to be a fan because people were claiming "that's just an anti trying to make the fandom look bad".

The responses are about what you expect them to be. We even got one from the big cheese herself.

The reply by DJ B.LITZ especially annoyed me because OP literally said books were thrown around. I'm pretty sure these same people wouldn't be as lenient about this sort of thing if THEY were the ones that had to clean up this mess. Even saw someone make a post saying "it should have been Stoliz". Becaue that's what these underpaid librarians need to see; ugly yaoi.
I'm wondering what the vandal's parents think about this, because I'd bet good money this is a middle/high school and not a college, not just because that's the average age group of a Helluva Boss fan that's doesn't have Yaoi brain rot, but also thanks to the fact they said it was their school library and not their college/university library. Must be fun being the parents having to have a sit down with the principle and seeing if your kid is either going to get suspended or outright expelled for this.

Honestly lowkey feel bad for normal fans or casual watchers of this series having to make it through the horrors (this fandom and slop of writers).

But was it ever found out why they did it? Like shit this seems so out of nowhere

Just teenagers being teenagers. Remember when I was in high-school, someone had come to the school over the weekend writing "Trump 2016" and "Build The Wall" in big letters with chalk all over the outside walls. Even back then, I thought it was pretty cringe that someone thought the best use of their free time was to go back to school and write out shit that was going to be easily washed away by rain.

Is there even any question that this happened in a middle/high school? College students can be immature but not this immature. This strikes me as firmly early-to-mid teens behaviour to me.

That's what upsets me. Season 2 should've been spent focusing on the development of the main cast or showcasing newer worlds across Hell. We have yet to see what Sloth, Envy, and Gluttony looks like beyond the very small tidbits! Envy hasn't even officially shown yet! All that time spent doing all the "Will they, won't they?" junk for Stolitz should've been spent on real development, both character and world wise. God, it gets me so upset whenever I'm reminded of this. The fact Stolas got this much attention and how little to none of the hardcore stans pointed how much he's favored over the LITERAL MAIN CAST baffles me so much. They're so fujobrained that they could care less about how the show actually ends up as long as Viv keep feeding them the one thing they desire the most.
It doesn't help almost each episode is plagued by melodrama, which lemme break it down

The Circus: Typical childhood romance shit added for yaoi with subtelty with the force of a sledgehammer to remind you Stella le bad with a lot of daddy issues. Really establishes the season being all about Stolas with the big highlight moment being a divorce.

Seeing Stars: Rehash of Looloo land where Octavia has issues with her parents except she runs to LA, half the episode is just Stolas dicking around in LA with Blitzo with a moral by Loona that deadbeat dads secretly love their kids and are trying their best despite Stolas not showing that beyond some concern.

Exes and Oohs: We meet Moxxie's stupid mafia dad who is unthreatening and an annoying ex boyfriend. Lots of sex jokes but mostly angst for daddy issues, carried by cool action scene (or as the kids say "hype moments and aura")

Western Energy: Striker kidnaps Stolas which leads to unfunny torture bits where he gets turned on by it with Millie and Moxxie sent to help save the day, unfunny hijinks ensue except for angst at the end about Blitzo seeing his bf is hurt because he didn't die due to plot armor.

Unhappy Campers: Moxxie angst episode about how he is not popular among vapid teenagers while Richard Horvitz puts on a really annoying teen girl voice because Vivzie thinks its funny. Also I guess Blitzo subplot about finding his evil sister. Oh yeah this was a mission episode, at least Millie was fun here.

Oops: Slightly more tolerable than the last few episodes, all about Fizz and him bonding with Blitzo, but focused solely on this side character along with bringing back two previous villains who are jokes.

Mammon Episode: One of the only two decent episodes all the way through, has issues with rushed resolutions and stuff but at least is not focused on Stolas or Moxxie who are pretty annoying, Mammon is also funny and there are actual jokes here. But rushed resolutions that lead to nowhere like how Mammon's entire audience is full of fujos who are accepting of Fizz and Asmodeus' relationship while we have an annoying stand-in for Vivziepop haters.

Full Moon: One of the most annoying episodes all about Stolitz drama, well actually most of it is action shenanigans between the Cherubs and IMP which honestly is better ignoring the gay angst. The gay angst is really obnoxious because we're supposed to feel bad for Stolas after being rightfully called out for being a sleazy scumbag and trying to enter a loving relationship with a gay he treated as a sex toy.

Apology Tour: Actual worst episode of the season, all about how Blitzo is the real villain in the relationship and not the rich, classist manchild. We meet so many pathetic exes as though it makes us feel more bad for Stolas when it shows that Blitzo really met the most pathetic losers in Hell. Pointless tease of Stolas dating another guy who never appears again. Only funny moment is a Stolas cutaway gag where he's summoned by Satanists.

Ghostfuckers: Really the only good episode of the season, stolitz drama is minor, had actual jokes, and for once had an actual intimidating villain. Really the only one that doesn't have that many problems.

Mastermind: Melodramatic courtroom drama where Stolas swoops in to heroically save the day with every male bird character being really annoying. Entire plot hinges on idiocy of a convoluted plan by Andre while Stolas blames himself for the crime for no reason, and a musical number with cringeworthy lyrics. At least Mammon is funny, Satan had cool aura, and Stella won even if she barely spoke.

Sinsmas: More annoying angst with Stella being shoved to the side while Andre really takes the villain role. Too much angst with the only redeeming part being an action sequence and Stolas suffering. Cringeworthy scene where Blitzo refuses a hit because the victim were a gay couple he saw himself in despite the fact they could be serial killers while client is portrayed as vapid bitch. Octavia set up to misunderstand the situation so she can be fine with her dad cheating on her mom in season 3 while the season ends with sad gay love, random pregnancy plot set up, and more gay love with a super romantic dance.

The issue with the second season is really all the fucking focus on melodramatic angst that doesn't go anywhere with the more decent episodes resolving it within the episode, but still too much angst for a workplace comedy and trying to really hammer home how you can only ever feel bad for Stolas.

Stinkmeaner would be the top Overlord if he was in the show while calling all the other characters bitch ass niggas.
Given he did get respect from the Devil when he went to Hell, Stinkmeaner would probably be the only one on par with the Deadly Sins.

When even Vivzie is annoyed by her own fanbase.

But man all these incidents with fans of Hellverse really establish that Vivziepop's fandom is going to be the annoying fandom of the 2020s just as the Bronies were for the 2010s and Sonic fans were for the 2000s

Viv has forgotten to credit another person that helped with the Hazbin Hotel pilot. This time the artist who did the hotel's exterior.

What's amazing to me is that they were given no art direction for the hotel's design. This is very similar to that one beatboard artist's experience. It's very frustrating to not get any information and/or feedback for your work, especially when the project isn't your idea.

Maybe this is why the hotel got a fairly significant redesign and was blown up at the end of the season.

Well the actual show's hotel design is a bit different from the pilot's design.

Show Hotel

You know, you think in the actual show Charlie would slip up and call the hotel "Happy Hotel". Since Alastor was the one that magically changed the name of the place to "Hazbin". It just seems kind of out-of-character for her to stick with such a name because she's supposed to be the positive one.

I just realized why it was most likely redesigned, it's so the front entrance looks like a theatre's now.
Because the VA's are mainly Broadway actors now! Bravo Viv!

Could have been a decent running gag for the sign to be constantly changed back and fourth by Charlie and Alastor.

That's something that is also missing in the show; these two interacting with one another. They talk to each other like at most twice before the episode where Alastor brags to Lucifer about how close he has gotten with Charlie. And even then, they don't have a full-on conversation with each other until episode seven when Alastor makes a deal with her.
