Stolas told Octavia he would never abandon her at all because she feared him abandoning her for Blitzo, and then the episode prior to the season 2 finale had him literally throw his life away on live TV for his boyfriend then not even bothering to see her for over a month despite being capable of just walking to the mansion and spent his sweet time dicking around with Blitzo.

A month? Looks more like a week.

He tried to call her but they take the phone in front of her, and then spend the whole week laughing at her not getting to talk to her father.

The turning point seems to be the finding of the happy pills. But instead of interpreting this as him being extremely unhappy in his marriage she makes the conclusion it was because he was unhappyu with her somehow.

This is not Shakespearean writing, but it is better writing than Alien Romulus.

I'm pretty sure the people who say Stella is a better parent aren't going to change their minds since it just is adding more irredeemable traits to whitewash Stolas.

Vivz did such a bad job of making Stella unlikeable that I was already starting to sympathize with her in S1.

I love how the fandom assumes Stella was physically abusive to Stolas during their marriage because...she attempted to slap him once...and he caught her arm.

I guess that means Loona is just beating up Blitzø all the time whenever she's angry at him and kicking him in the nuts when he tries to hug her becaue it was shown once that she does it. And unlike Stella, she actually did achieve in hitting Blitzø.

Ah, perfect timing to discard all of the braincells I’ve been restoring for the past five days.

I think that at this point Viv has to write an episode about family union where parents get along with their biological offsprings, even if it’s a 5-minute-long excerpt from the life of Goetia family, probably even before the events of the first season. Because, well, I’m getting convinced that every other Hellaverse stan has unhinged parental issues.

Why are you defending stolas and showing the video itself if you're gonna be wrong about it? The man took a month to visit his daughter and the only reason he FINALLY did it is because he had a mental breakdown after working in the office for 30 seconds.

It is not the best writing, it is like the writer is regressing Octavias character ark just to have the dad conflict.

A common trope in modern story telling is to have the plot drive the character rather than the characters actions.

That is all, it is a fun show and I've enjoyed watching it. It is not the next Shakespeare but thats allright. It does not have to be.

There's one thing that annoys me about this vid, is the scene with the "fuck Blitz" party is when Stolas starts his song, suddenly you have Vortex joining in on the song. Which doesn't make any sense, when we first meet the guy he openly says that he doesn't care whatever beef Blitz has with Verosika, it doesn't concern him and ain't part of it. He later showed concern for Blitz at Bee's party and fact he nearly drank himself to death. Sooo...Why does he suddenly join on this song?

Of course the happy pills were all about the marriage and that's going to be the focus because Vivzie is a coward who can't have her characters be held accountable for their actions even if there is a good reason to be pissed at them.

Mark my words either Stella becomes even more evil for the sake of making Stolas look good or Octavia learns the truth and she'll be super lovey dovey towards Stolas in Season 3 and people like you and all the other Stolitz fanboys would clap like seals saying "FINALLY", "IT'S ABOUT TIME", or a variant of the two now that Octavia will inevitably approve of Stolas' new fling.

Probably is that from the out of universe perspective. In-universe would be that Verosika paid his ass to join in.

Though this implies Apology Tour is going to be relevant beyond Verosika being besties with the two gays leading the show since it took like 2 episodes to act like it didn't happen

This. This entire thing right here. In the first episode when Octavia talks to Stolas about her feelings she asks, "are you going to run off with him?" And Stolas did do that. He went with Blitzø. It's always been Blitzø. What was Ocatvia supposed to say here? "Yeah, it's cool dad that you spend all your time with the homewrecker." If anything, it would be unrealistic if she just accepted her dad's half-hearted apology for the THIRD time.

And it's not like Octavia hates her father now. She still loves him, obviously. She just knows now that she can't rely on him anymore. That Blitzø will always be his first choice. And as she said, she'll be okay...just not today.
