How does someone do an episode in Season 2 that is set before Season 1? I am trying to wonder if any TV Series has done that before. The Americans? I don't think so. Ripper Street? No, only in the very last episode when Edmund Reid is reminiscing how the gang was formed. Hm... The Crown? Haven't watched it yet. Downton Abbey? The Gilded Age? Deadwood? Any ideas?

I think if he wouldn't say word for word what that incest father wanted, would've been unexpected and probably funny, but instead it came off as Vivzie's "Oh, x thing can never happen - Oh no! Ander is probably a pedophile himself with how much he keeps repeating the word. As if Stolas hasn't harassed and "SA'd" Blitz before. By their logic, all throughout Loo Loo land Stolas was harassing Blitz but he gets a pass.
Not really that shocking, being anti-Stolitz can stem from several places. Ander there just hates Blitzo, likes Stolas, and thinks that Stolas is better off without him. On this thread, most of us think Stolas is absolute trash, and then are divided on Blitzo. Some view him as a victim, others think that he’s as garbage as Stolas and that they both should die, or for one guy, you see someone hope that they get together so they can be miserable in their hard fought union, where everything they actually care about is lost.
This kind of misread is rife now that youtube is filled with reviewers and analyzers are saturating youtube trying to pick apart and find the next big controversy in a show or movie for clicks.
People read way too goddamn much into that scene. It's just a dumb cheap laugh (and actually kinda funny IMO).
There is literally no indication in season 1 that Blitzo has a tragic backstory (or that he and Fizz actually know each other). But in season 2, they're leaning into it like fucking crazy so I'm tempted to agree.
Most we got I think is the ending S1 where Blitz looks tearful at the old photo of him, Barbie and their mother. Now, that doesn't indicate a tragic backstory, but does give one a hint that he had a family and something went down to split them apart (which could range from death or them parting on very ill terms), with Fizz most we got was the Fizzbot mocking Blitz. But again, the wording in that could range from Blitz blowing his chances of being a star, working a deadend job while he was outshined by Fizz and etc, but again NOTHING indicates a tragic backstory.
People calling everything pedophilia has infested EVERY online space. It's really annoying. Of course, the Vivzie show fandom is full of it. It's expected there, but I just mention it because it's inescapable, and so tiring. I saw people call Valentino a pedo, and how did they explain it? They assumed that because he's a pimp that he had sexual relations with children. Lmaoo
I think worse of Stolas than Blitzø because, even though Blitzø is marginally a worse person, he will get called out more than Stolas for his screw-ups. And will get called out for shit that's not his fault (this is mostly in relation to Stolas). Meanwhile Stolas is just never called out for his mistakes, and even when he is, the narrative will deliberately go out of it's way to give him excuses so it's not actually his fault or make the person who is calling him out be the one in the wrong.
There were some subtle hints sprinkled throughout Season 1 that Blitzø didn't have the greatest childhood. There's also the fact that imps are "supposedly" treated like shit because their one of the lowest rankings in Hell with no powers like any of the other species have. It's just because the show's writing is dog-shit and not very consistent that this isn't shown very well. The fact that The Circus episode wasn't a Blitzø backstory episode and instead a Stolas one because Viv wanted to retcon Stolas to "have loved Blitzø the first time he saw him as a child" is very much a waste. Out of the two, Blitzø very much has the more interesting backstory but no; instead let's spend time on two children playing that basically adds very little to the main plot and it's characters, and also waste time on very uncomfortable foreplay.
I was going to “um ackshually” because he/she/it claimed to not like Stolas very much and claims to be an Octavia defender, but the hatred definitely seems to be more towards Blitz. Made the usual excuses for Stolas too.
Aaaaaaaaaand HB should have been set in another universe as HH, keep HB with their 7 deadly sins, Satan being the canon Lucifer in their world, no more hierachy with goetis and charlie's family that doesn't make any sense, no overlords bullshit, no angels that set extermination, just imps killing people from earth making trouble and have their own heaven stopping them or something with the cherubs, I can't believe Viv didn't come up with something so simple when she made her pilot and yet here we are. This will be damaging once the crossover (which is not since it's the same universe now that I think about it...) will be out.
