Brother, Vivienne doesn't give a FUCK about theological accuracy, she's just using shit from the Lesser Keys of Solomon as set dressing, how haven't you realized that yet?
Would Solomon appear in Season 03?
That would be interesting. I guess she would make him married to a negress - Queen of Sheba or something. But he would be ignore her and instead talk about his knowledge.

You act as tough what your saying is some grand revelation when everyone else figured out Viv's never read the Bible ages ago.

Either that or Viv is going to push the show until season 6 like she originally proposed because "that's how many seasons has Bojack has".
Or she's just going to do a spin-off. She's talked about a Vees specific series before, and even during the LVL UP panel earlier today, Amir Talai (Alastor's VA) joked that it doesn't have to end with Season 5, and Viv agreed that a spin-off is absolutely possible (though quickly changed the subject).

... that we know of.
ummmm but the pride month merch says he's ASEXUAL??

Watched it and it was...okay. It was just one of those where I was pretty neutral about the entire thing. Probably because it was about a character that the main show has largely ignored and will continue to ignore, so any expansion on her really doesn't matter in the long run.

I guess I'm annoyed that she felt like a "Blitzø but female" in this. But this is just a Helluva Boss writing thing. You should expect by now for the characters to not have that much of a variety personality wise.
Funny thing is barb is one of the few characters I can kinda get She is rightfully pissed at blitz (haven't watched the short yet so I don't know if it addresses their screwed up brother sister relationship) and wants nothing to do with him no matter how much he tries to play the "I can change" card.

A Vee spinoff would just end up becoming yaoi between Vox and Valentino, and the show occasionally remembering Velvette exists.

A Vee spinoff would be super redundant, especially if Hazbin does end after season 5 because Vox is said to be an important character until the show's end, with him being the main Vee for season 2, Val for 3, and Velvette for 4.

From a world building perspective, the only major idea they could expand upon is what it means to be an Overlord seeing how poorly season 2 handled it, though that's the equivalent of them making a Stolas spinoff to focus on his duties as a Goetia, as if it wasn't necessary to explore that in the main show.

Sorry to ruin your expectations, but no, because the short takes place the day of or day after Unhappy Campers (the episode where they meet and I.M.P kills her heroin supplier on Earth).

Still, I think it was one of the better shorts. Lots of fun background details and world building. It could have gone without making yet another character gay, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Yeah, I don't really know how it would work either. You genuinely aren't wrong. Vox/Val are partners and Velvette is supposedly a strict lesbian, so let's be honest, Viv won't be able to help herself.

lol TFR player spotted

I would only see a Vee spinoff being a prequel series showcasing their rise to power, but it seems to me Vox and Valentino would already be firmly established by the time Velvette arrived since her entire gimmick being social media puts her around the mid 2000s at the absolute earliest (then again that would work great for Viv's interests) or explore more of that 7 year time frame before the start of Hazbin that keeps being thrown around. But as you basically said, Viv is really bad at world building.

The only thing a Vee spinoff would have going for it is the how Vox carried S2 on his back.

I think Viv shouldnt get her hopes up, just because they were singed for 5 Seasons, doesnt mean Amazon wont cut the cord if the later seasons fail on viewer numbers.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Viv doesn't knows who Solomon is and what he has to do with the 72 demons. That's likely also the reason why she calls them Ars Goetia, even though that's just the name of the book (and roughly means "art of witchcraft" ) and not the 72 demons of Solomon.

What's really funny is that even though Barbie has a girlfriend and she is the main character of this short, the two random xenophobic background demons get more action between each other. Viv can't help but add in yaoi, even when it's not the focus.

Also if the ending credits has anything to go by, it looks like the two may have broken up.

Making this whole relationship plot point entirely pointless.

Right, the occult stuff about him. I bet she wouldn't know about Ecclesiastes or Song of Songs unless there was a quick Wikipedia search.

Maybe she thinks Mahershalalhashbaz is the name of a strong drink or a drug consumed in heaven.
