Viv is enough of an internet millennial that a subtle powerlevel joke like that is far from the realm of possibility. I think it's intentional and it fits in with the show's desire to be edgy and subversive. The only thing that makes me doubt that it's actually a Vivzie joke is how subtle it is, had to have been another writer or an animator going rogue.
 
Short was okay, honestly the shorts are the best episodes of Helluva Boss at this point compared to gay owl drama, speaking of which, I'm surprised no one noticed this

Damn, I was coming here to say the short felt like it was spinning it's wheels but the last minute made it all worth it. Still though, this format is fucking awful. There are a lot of actually good ideas for episodes in these shorts but all the "IMP goes on wacky adventures" stuff clearly isn't priority anymore.

I think the Stolas sketch just implies that this takes place during the gap between Apology Tour and Mastermind. It would explain the "hypocrite" and also why Blitz is so incredibly desperate for validation. Would also explain why Stolas has not shown up in any of the shorts so far. I am probably overthinking it.

The 88/420 on the other hand... I do think that someone slipped that in under Viv's nose, lol. Just too specific of a choice.

Talk about the most average of shorts. I'm so neutral to it that I can't really come much up with to say about it except that this plot could have been an actual episode if we were back when the show focused on it's assassination black comedy premise.

Usually the shorts feel like they drag but this short was...well short.

The scene where he rubbed himself because of some mid praise qas so gross. Like, you could've made it about simply him having low self esteem, or smth, but no, it HAD to be a sex scene. Same thing as with Vox - Viv could make an intersdting character, but his whole motivation was reduced to faggot drama with Alastor. Ugh...:/
Rest of the short was about as colourful as wet asphalt, and hey, about as exciting too
 
I knew going in this new short would be anti corporate/ceo which as I said Vivian and her entourage have no moral high ground to stand om in calling out corporate America. Throw in a "diddling/possible epstien files reference too.


Solid, lucky 7/10 average short like all the shorts it's better than the actual shows are, made me laugh a little, and was a decent five minute watch while staying warm under the electric blanket.


The video of otters eating sardines I got recommend as a follow up was a lot better 10/10.

I feel like I need to keep using this quote every time Viv complains about billionaires like Jeff Bezos her boss.
 
Viv is trying to portray herself as good via her stories while actually being a huge fucking hypocrite (duh). All the sins are actually good EXCEPT for Mammon because Viv would NEVER support being greedy. The horny gay homewrecker demon is actually a good guy because he would NEVER diddle kids or kill gay people.

"Bad people are bad." Yeah, that's the whole of it all, isn't it? The show's thesis is supposed to be seen as subversive and daring, but it collapses into its kindergarten sense of morality the moment it wants you to guffaw and clap.

Couldn't just say that corporate greed is bad but had to make the no-face CEO a pedo as well, so not only do you laugh, but you're a good person for doing so.

Makes me feel gross in an odd way I can't really explain.
